ZOOM MS-50G+ MultiStomp guitar effects pedal with 100 effects for stage, studio, and recording— any effect chain can be saved as a preset

Surprisingly good pedal! And very easy to use. It’s particularly good for practice at home and for someone learning to play it has everything they could really want built in. Sounds are very good but obviously not at the highest level compared to the really high end modellers or boutique stand alone pedals. I think it would sound perfectly good live but the controls would probably be a bit fiddly if you needed multiple effects during one song. As a stump box it should be fine though to just switch between two sounds.

Comprehensive effects unit quality tones

This pedal is an all rounder, you can choose 6 effects ranging from compressors and filters to modulation, reverb and amp simulations. You get 100 Slots to save presets. Virtually, it's like having 100 pedalboards with 6 pedals on... That you can scroll through! The sound is good when used on a pedalboard with other traditional pedals, and the unit itself offers a volume boost to 120% built in tuner and has tap tempo available for delays and echos. I find the battery life to be average when using rechargable AA batteries, but a lot better using USB power bank. The problem I have with this pedal is, while everything can be managed on the pedal using dials and buttons, if you want to manage with an app you can ONLY do so on iOS. And the app isn't free and ZOOM don't look to be supporting android or their own PC app. The previous generation or MS50G has more effects too. Don't be put off though if you want a pedal that has the potential to replace your whole pedalboard give this a try.

Very versatile pedal with some pleasant surprises up it's sleeve. Heartily recommended for accessing a multiplicity of sounds for your guitar.

Build quality: Good sturdy build..

There is a bit of a learning curve with this unit, but once I'd edited a couple of patches it soon became clear that the Zoom MS50G+ is a versatile and great sounding effects pedal. By only utilising 2-3 effects in series i soon created 20 very usable patches including a vintage sounding tremolo and reverb combo, a Floyd type delay, nice rock overdrive rhythm and solo patches, and cool backwards delay and step sequencer effects. The built in Tuner is very accurate, and the up down patch buttons are just big enough to tap with my size 10 feet. The unit has a steel casing and seems tough enough for gig use, shame the editing app is only for apple users! This short video demos three of the patches, filmed one handed with my mobile!

Zoom MS-50G+ Stereo MultiStomp Guitar Pedal: My impressions of it are very disappointing. I was dismayed to find that there is no PC software available to edit the patches. I was also appalled that they don't include the power adapater, or even a USB cable. How stingy is that?! As for the effects, some of them are mediocre at best. The labels for the encoders are printed in a stupid place where you can't see them from the normal viewing angle. All they had to do was print them above the knobs instead of below! And then there is the archaic display tchnology. It looks like a display from 1980s and lacks sufficient contrast to make it easy to see and read especially from certain angles. Why is Zoom Corp always decades behind the times with its display panels? I found this device extremely user-unfriendly in deed, and ended up getting rid of it and replacing it with its predecessor: the three-knob version, which I much prefer, even without the four foot-operable pads. I find the predecessors more attractive, too with their metallic finish. The white paint on this new model looks rubbish, to me.

Bought this on basis of zoom saying there would be app support.....no mention that would be iOS only......so if you have android only way to use the app is to root your phone which is very dodgy. And without the app the pedal is kinda useless no way with the interface are you going to be able to do patchs on the fly. For any apple user this would be an amazing bit of kit for a dawless setup. But if your on android it may as well be a brick. Also feels cheap on the black scroll and memory buttons. Overall beyond disappointed.

Este pedal puede reemplazar a muchos efectos en una pedalera. Son 100 efectos configurables aunque algunos están de relleno…pero es una buena opción si quieres simplificar tu equipo.

This pedal is an example of useful guitar equipment that is moving in the right direction. Using the pedal is intuitive and easy to operate. The 9 switches and knobs enable easy use when using your fingers. Trying to use the foot only to operate the pedal might prove frustrating. I have it sitting on the table where I can look at the screen while changing settings and adjusting parameters. Adjusting the parameters with the knobs is direct and easy. The knobs adjust the parameters and the parameters are sensitive, giving a wide range of adjustability. This means that it is possible for a player to form the sound very interestingly. Many super great sounds can be formed thru quick and easy adjustments of the parameter knobs. It is easy to make new patches quickly. Navigating the patch memories is straight forward, as is recalling and changing patches. Self made patches sound great. The price is about $ and for this small investment the player can expect to get high quality dividends. This is a very good small guitar multi pedal that contains many useful and high quality good sounding effects, preamps, and other opyions. This pedal can be powered with just 1 usbc cable and a usb wall block charger. No need for the batteries or 9volt plug in power adapter. Nevertheless, this pedal uses 2 AA batteries and it has a 9 volt port for being powered with a normal guitar pedal power supply. It connects via usbc cable to the ipad and iphone. It uses its own app.

A questo prezzo, non credo ci sia di meglio in giro. Tanti effetti, anche troppi perché alcuni si somigliano un po' ( numerosi drive, chorus, reverb, delay, etc.) e tante patch (effetti combinati tra loro. Idem le regolazioni, pressoché infinite. Unica pecca, quando mandate in off una patch premendo il tasto centrale del pedale, dusabilitate UN solo effetto, perciò gli altri che compongono la patch rimangono in on. Da prenderci la mano, ma poi è un vero spasso
