My kitchen fan
Item arrived on the the time as expected. I had my electrician install this down rod because I have 12ft ceiling. It’s the perfect height after installing the fan. The fan is stable, matches the fan.

Hunter 2 Foot Down Rod
This down rod was used as part of the installation of a Hunter ceiling fan. My electrician advised that it was good to have the Hunter brand down rod for a Hunter fan. Installation went well and the fan works great.

and it feels well-built and sturdy. However
Overall, a solid piece. The look and feel matches up with any brushed nickel ceiling fan (I have several), and it feels well-built and sturdy. However, my only complaint is that the holes don't line up with most original downrods' ground wire screws, and the holes in the threading appear to have been done in such a way as to bend the threading around the holes, causing the threading to not screw down any farther once the threading within the ceiling fan housing met with the holes. These things are actually less of a problem than they may seem, since ground wires should also exist in the ceiling mount, and the holes still should show up with enough room to allow the yoke pin to fit.

Happy With Our Well Hung Fan
The Hunter post did a great job in lowering the fan from the ceiling to a more effective height.

Cheaper Than Home Depot
I bought this for a ceiling fan in a vaulted room. Does the job and is cheaper than buying the same one at Home Depot!
