I used these with an Elebase USB-A to USB-C adaptor at one end to connect my two Raspberry Pi 5s to a 5.1V DC 5A power supply, which itself is fed from a 12V DC source. I was a bit apprehensive to start with, as these cords are smart cords with circuitry in the connector. But, having told the Raspberry Pi that it can get maximum power from the cable (you put the line, "usb_max_current_enable=1" in /boot/firmware/config.txt), it worked fine. I was, with other cable (rated for 3A max) still getting low voltage errors, but with this cable, I do not. The 100W is at 20A, which means they are actually rated for 5A (for cable, it is the current carrying capacity that actually matters). Additionally, the 1m length was perfect for my situation. I am very happy with my purchase and, should I get more Pis that will operate such a custom power supply, will definitely buy these cables again.
