Not worth the money
Sword falls inward while sparing, broke within a couple of uses from trying to pull the sword outward to not have in cave in

Thrilled with this purchase
I had these as a kid and loved them. They used to be made of all nerf and after awhile the sword would be bent. They redesigned them and now they are plastic with a nerf tip! Bought several of them for the whole family to join in. Thank you Nerf!

Perfect birthday party gift
Super cute easy to use for that sword safe for smaller children fun to play knock the tabs down around the handle and it shows you who won and who didn’t. I definitely recommend this for the quality Nerf brand is great and it would be a perfect gift not too noisy when you’re invited to that last minute birthday party.

Came broken
Only one was workable. The second one was broken. When we took it out of the package the green blade thing kept falling out of the toy. It’s also hard plastic when what I was looking for was foam weapons. Definitely wouldn’t buy this again. I don’t have the time or energy to try to return this to Amazon so I guess I ate the cost. My son is disappointed as well since it was his bday present.

Nostalgia Overload
I had Nerf Fencing when I was a kid, so when i saw this, I knew it was something my kids would enjoy. It has all of the same enjoyment of the original, but this version is collapsible and also lights up! Hours of fun.

Fun but too fragile.
Fun, but the folding tabs that keep score started breaking on the first day, Christmas Day. My daughter plays hard and this just couldn’t stand up to her intensity. Buy if you want to be careful about hitting the scoring tabs (but if you’re being careful that means swinging slower and that means the other person will easily be able to keep their tabs from being hit which kinda defeats the purpose of having the tabs to keep score. This would have been five star + if it lasted but once one tab has broken it’s basically ruined as a game and is just another toy sword.
