Pyrex Basics 3-Pack Glass Baking Dish Set (2QT, 3QT, 4.8QT), BPA-Free Lids

I really like these. Replaced my store brand nonstick with them and they’re great for everything, way easier to clean. Lids are nice for keeping leftovers.

Just right for holiday cakes and casseroles.

Pyrex is always a go-to. I like the covers. Dishwasher safe. Oven safe. Great to bake in. Nice to bake at home then take the item covered to a party.

The Pirates three pack glass, baking dishes serve my purpose as well.

Have owned and used many pyrex dishes over the years. They have always been reliable. These are a really nice size for nesting but the cardboard that usually helps them stack more safely was really bulky instead of the simple sized and cut pieces so im going to have to get dish protectors sooner rather than later. I have concerns regarding how much thinner the new ones are than the old ones. The old ones held up to the heat of even a large toaster oven. These were marked as not for use in a toaster oven. Consumers need specific dimensions for what exactly the limit is because i have a two rack toaster oven in place of an actual oven, and i’ve used the old pyrex in it for years without issue. I’ll grant you that i am pretty careful not to temperature shock these types of dishes, but I was hoping to be able to skip some of those preventative measure steps with the new ones. I’m a little disappointed, but i could’ve read more of the description. I assumed that i knew pyrex well enough so im not letting it affect my rating. Otherwise, unless i have any issues, im pretty happy with my purchase.

I bought these as a BD gift for my daughter-in-law and she loves them. The biggest dish was a bit bigger than we expected and she was thrilled with it! She has a husband and 3 teen boys so she will be able to make more food at a time which is fine with her I would highly recommend this Pyrex set

Are "PYREX" and "pyrex" the Same? Both trademarks were historically used interchangeably in the marketing of kitchenware products made up of both borosilicate and soda-lime glass. However, now Corning has licensed out the use of their PYREX (upper case lettering) and pyrex (lower case lettering) logos to other companies. Lowercase pyrex is now mostly used for kitchenware sold in the United States, South America, and Asia. In Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, uppercase PYREX is still available. So Which One Explodes? Pyrex used to be made of the more heat-resistant borosilicate glass, which is more resistant to breakage when subjected to extreme shifts in temperature. Pyrex eventually switched to tempered glass most likely because boron is toxic and expensive to dispose of. Although tempered glass can better withstand thermal shock than regular soda-lime glass can, it's not as resilient as borosilicate. This is what causes the shattering reaction people are talking about. Watch out for those casseroles. And What Does This Mean? If the logo is in upper case lettering, PYREX, it's most likely made of borosilicate, and thus safer. The lowercase lettering is most likely made of soda-lime glass, so take extra care after any high-heat cooking. Most glassware products will include warnings so make sure to read about proper handling, cleaning, and storage. Cheap products being marketed to the masses in the USA from Chinese manufacturers.
