Compact and stable
I was looking for a laptop stand to use in an area with limited space. This stand impressed me greatly. Wonderfully stable. I also found the included power brick holder very helpful and useful in managing the cables. I was using quite an old laptop that was just a little wider than the try. However, the included elasticated bands were ideal for keeping the laptop firmly secured to the stand.Value for money is enhanced by the attention to detail (power brick holder, elasticated straps). Clear assembly instructions included but there is really only one way it can be put together. Relatively lightweight made it portable and moving it with the laptop, power brick and cables attached was easy. Footprint was large enough to be stable but small enough to fit in tight spaces and allowing me to operate in a number of different places.Excellent option with useful equipment to make everything easier.

Pretty good but not totally ideal for holding a laptop
It arrived ready to be assembled and with instructions that didn't obstruct this aim too badly. Once in place, the stand's slight wobble wasn't a major issue for my laptop - not totally sure those thin straps are going to last long-term though. So far so good. Then I realised that, because of the tray design, there was no way to connect any peripherals (USB cameras, laptop power supply etc.) without either raising the laptop (and risking it sliding off) or bending the metal. I chose the latter option, getting out my pliars and bending the rear part of the tray flat, thus allowing better access (see photo). Now it felt much better. I'm aware that the main purpose of this item is to hold a projector anyway rather than a laptop but in such case I'm not sure I'd dare risk a heavy one, at least at anything near maximum extension. And, to be fair, there's no way something so tall and thin is a the perfect choice for heavy items in the first place.Overall, I'm happy with my choice, the floorspace it occupies and its flexibility. I like the little block for holding power supplies and the cable tidy things were useful too. I may find a better use for the phone attachment at some point; at the moment it's holding a tiny webcam as an addition to my main one.I think I'd have awarded it five stars had it been just a bit sturdier, more laptop-aware and a few quid cheaper.

Superb tripod for my projector
From the moment you open the security-sealed box and read the statement that Prop Vue take their business and service very seriously, you feel relieved that you've purchased a quality product. This tripod easily supports my TopTro projector though feels as though it would capably support much, much more. Every piece is individually wrapped and the accompanying instruction booklet is clear. It comes with accessories to secure many different things; projector, laptop, speaker, DJ/Karaoke deck, lighting, sheet music - just about anything you'd need to mount onto a tripod. A long, heavy duty flexi-arm and phone holder are also supplied that enable the User to additionally support their mobile phone alongside, for bluetooth proximity. And everything can be packed away into the sturdy, zipped hold-all bag also supplied.I cannot recommend this product highly enough.

OK but a few flaws, not as stable as I hoped
Reasonably easy to put this together. I purchased this for a large Epson projector (eh-tw7100) at a limited height so that we can use it from the bedroom window to a wall in an outside courtyard. It does the job but only just.Cpl of issues. Main plate was damaged on the end, with no visable damage to the box. The table top isn't, and can not be secured firmly so that it won't move. It's designed so you can rotate the plate but it doesn't tighten to a satisfactory level where there isnt some free movement. This a fault of having only two adjusters and a further two rivet connections. No matter how hard you tighten it it will move slightly back and forth. Not really an issue for smaller items, and if it's in area where it's unlikely to get knocked, but if you are using a large projector it doesn't fill you with confidence. The security ties are not great for a larger and heavier item.I wouldn't go the full height with a heavy item, our projector is at the max rating of weight and I wouldn't feel safe extending the top pipe.Velcro holder on the accessory battery holder was missing. Not bad, a touch over priced. For larger projectors perhaps look at spending more for a better size and quality.

good stand for projector
Good projector the only one thing which could be improved is more steady if it's higher is less steady but maybe this is just gravity otherwise it's really good and does the job :)

Poor Quality Screw Connection
The minute I screwed the top on, it never tightened but chafed. It was immediately unusable. Very bad
