Works well with Alienware AW3423DWF
I tried two other KVM Switches before this one. I am running two Alienware AW3423DWF 34" @ 3440 x 1440 @ 164.9Hz HDR connected to a GTX 3080 FTW Ultra. Running a Gaming PC and a work laptop "Thinkpad", Logitech Keyboard and Mouse, Web Cam. The other switches could not handle those settings in HDR. I tied many different 16k cables and lengths. I would get horizontal banding on one monitor and it would disconnect and reconnect randomly. Also, the other switches, like Netflex, could not handle HSCP content. I have had no issues with this switch after I updated the firmware to 1.0.2 from 1.0.1. Before I updated the firmware, I did have the same HDR issues.

Was great for about a week
I've tried so many KVM switches off Amazon and have yet to find the one that works reliably. This switched worked perfectly for about a week then started having issues. The mouse and keyboard constantly disconnect from the switch as I'm actively working and the only way to get the switch to pick them back up again is to power it on/off. I've tried moving them to the other USB ports as well and same thing just randomly my keyboard will stop typing as I'm actively writing something. My search for a good KVM switch goes on I guess.*Edit: as of 4/17 I was given a full refund for the KVM by the seller so bumping my rating up a bit. Still wish the mouse/kb cutting out wasn't an issue but for now I'll deal with it

No more flickering!
OMFG, I finally got this KVM working with my Alienware AW3420DW (the notorious flicker monster) and my Dell S2716DG monitor. Both have G-SYNC. No, I’m not a Vine Customer here to review this, though I wish I had gotten it for free considering all the hassle I've gone through to make this work.I was battling some serious flickering issues and spent two weeks juggling various 8k DisplayPort 1.4 and 1.2 cables, on the brink of returning this KVM and throwing in the towel. Just when I was about to give up and possibly set up a shrine to cables past, I stumbled upon 16k DisplayPort cables on Amazon. Naturally, I had to try them.I got two “uni DP Cable 2.1 16k” cables. One goes from the KVM to Monitor 1, and the other from the KVM to Monitor 2. I'm still using my old DP cables (which worked perfectly fine before the KVM), and they are now plugged into the KVM. Checked Refresh rate on both monitors and they are both good, 120hz and 144hz.Switching between my work laptop and gaming rig is straightforward with just the push of a button. No issues at all. It even remembers my window positions when switching back and forth. Now I am typing this review with no flicker in sight! I hope this helps anyone else trying to get this expensive machine to work with their setup!

What I'm looking for but encountering issues
I've been using it for a little over 2 weeks. It's what I've been looking to get for quite some time.It has great build quality and works but I've been encountering some issues.Sometimes devices don't work when switching even when target computer is awake. I've had this randomly happen with typically 1 device at a time and it's happened to every device I have hooked up to it at least once which are 2 monitors, a gaming keyboard, and a gaming mouse. I'm not sure if it's the KVM, cables, OS (Windows 11), or OS settings. Previously I was using a separate USB hub switcher with a single displayport KVM and didn't have this issue. The workaround is to switch back to the other machine, then back.My gaming keyboard, a Corsair K70 RGB PRO, does not work with the keyboard port despite this being advertised as supporting gaming keyboards, which also means I can't use the keyboard shortcuts to switch displays. It works with the USB3 ports. The primary monitor every now and then goes out for a brief moment and comes back. I think there's a suggestion somewhere to upgrade all cables to DP 2.0 though. It's not too frequent but extremely annoying. The remote I received has buttons for up to 4 machines but this is only a 2 machine KVM. It would have been great to have an option for a wired single button that I can mount under my desk. I have this KVM under my desk where I can't reach the button on the device itself. I ended up velcroing the remote under my desk as I don't want to lose it and there's really no need to have a mobile switcher. The extra buttons make it annoying for this situation. An under-desk mounting bracket would be great too. I don't want to keep this on my desk with all the cords everywhere and the bright LEDs.

A DisplayPort KVM that actually works (at 2K at least)
The media could not be loaded. I've been using KVMs for about 10yrs now for my personal use since I work from home and the home offices have been small-ish most of the time. Until now, the last working KVM I had was HDMI and since moving to DP it has been nothing short of aggravating since I'm also a gamer. The promises of throughput and stable images have not been realized until now. This KVM actually delivers on its promise driving my 2K monitor very well and switching between the work and home PCs rather quickly. A good amount of USB ports on the front and the design is aesthetically pleasing. At least more pleasing than the usual black brick. It has been 4 years since I had a working KVM so I am happy with this product, especially since the price is far below some of the "higher end" KVMs that don't deliver. If I were to offer feedback on the design it would be the following (none of which are worthy of taking a star away):1. Add hotkey options like Scroll Lock or other unused keys2. The sides of the 1 and 2 selector on the front as compared to the back cable input sides are flipped. Looking at the front, computer 1 is on the left but the inputs for computer 1 on the back are on the right if you are facing the device.3. More amps out of the USB ports. 2.4 or greater on all would be a bonus.Again, none of these are deal or review breakers for me.Really happy I found this KVM.
