This is my second keystone..my other one is in the bedroom.bought it three years ago and it’s great…gets room very cold..older one is a little noisy but for me I like it ,it drowns out the street noise.This one we just set up yesterday in living room and it’s quiet and just like my other one ,is very powerful and cold.also cools off dining room too .So far…my older one I never had to empty water out as it self evaporates,so hope this unit is same.Anyone hesitant on buying it…trust me ..you will be happy…and go for the unit with more BTU..on any brand you choose

We love this unit. Our experience right from delivery to setup and operating it has been positive. This unit is beautiful, does not take too much space and it works great. It is a very effective A/C, and really helped our family during the hottest time of the year. The setup is not too complex and you don’t need to be handy to be able to get this installed and operational. All it took was about 30 minutes from opening the package to turning this on. I love the handy remote, its helpful in the night when you want to turn it down or up. The functional panel is also very user friendly. I also love the fact that I can move this around if I have to, due to the roller wheels. All in all, this is a great unit and so far we are totally happy with our purchase. I give it five stars!

Overall great product but the vent tray that is placed I'm the window came cracked.

The package was missing several crucial parts needed for assembly, including all of the screws and insulation tape referenced by the instructions. The video on this Amazon page is very misleading and advertises a different product than the one being sold here. The actual part that sits in your window is assembled very differently and is not nearly as easy to set up as the video would have you believe. Extremely misleading. Sent the product back promptly.

This thing works better than a window air conditioner! With a window model, the humidity gets pumped into your home. With this one, the air in your home is circulated and the humidity in the home is burnt out of the air! So NO HUMIDITY if you’re using it in a bedroom or on a level away from the kitchen (if you’re boiling a lot in the Summer and who does🤦🏻‍♀️). Otherwise, if you’re not adding moisture on your own, there’s no humidity and an oscillating fan will direct the cool air to another room if you, like me, cannot have your bedroom window blocked by plexiglass in case of a fire. Yes! You will need to purchase a small piece of plexiglass if your windows push OUT instead of UP!I have never felt more comfortable in an apartment space before because the window air conditioner would add humidity to the space!

GREAT VALUE. EASY TO UNBOX AND PLUG AND PLAY

I bought this because my HVAC unit wasn’t cooling and the repair company couldn’t get to my home for over a week. I am pleasantly surprised by1) the cooling and heating capacity of this unit 2) the quiet operation 3) and the out of the box/plug in, set, ready go. It can cools a large space in the home, larger than specified especially if you have an open floor plan. In a closed room/ bedroom, it’s superior also. Unit comes pre assembled with rollers already attached for easy access movement through the house. The only challenge I had is fitting the window kit into my area. Even with the window kit challenge, I give it 5 stars and I ordered another unit to use at relative’s home, with their generator, to plug in during storms and power outages! They even specially designed the shipping box, so there is no heavy lifting at all! Once you untape the box it lifts completely from the bottom so you don’t have to tip the unit or lift it at all. You just roll it right out and place in corner, near a window to vent through the precut vent kit hole! I like this unit!! Great buy, can be used for many purposes! Buy it!

So I actually took the unit apart to see if there was something wrong with the “heater.” There isn’t, the unit appears to use the compressor for the AC regardless of what mode it is in outside of fan. The compressor is used to dehumidify, the AC uses the compressor and blow the air from the compressor unit, and the heat reversed the flow of air to blow the cold compressed air out the exhaust and the radiator air out the front.Interesting design, but if the coPress or goes, everything goes. Also, the heat definitely is not even 8k btu, so best used as supplemental. It should be noted they state it’s for supplemental heat, but I was expecting an actual electric element, not a bastardized airflow regulator and an AC radiator.Also, heat only drains on the lower tank, so you have to have the drain low which is proving difficult in a sealed basement garage.
