Very simple. Battery operated. The description on the page says it does not come with a hook, but you can clearly see a hook in the picture. There was a hook in the package. The entire mechanism is held by a single nut it's pretty simple to put together. Requires a single double A battery that is installed from the rear, so be sure you can access from behind. This is a silent mechanism. It does not chime.

Repaired my old clock. It worked and was fun

Great replacement to bring an old broken clock new life. Looks like original. Comes with different length and style hands and I did trim the long second hand to use the style I wanted on the clock I had but no issues. Keeps time well without any loss after months of using it. Highly recommend

The kit accommodated three different clock face sizes. The smallest sets of hands worked best for us. Quality was great. I had my clock up and running in minutes. The second is a nice feature.

The clock functions, but after a month the pendulum stopped swinging.

This arrived very quickly. And replaced my broken unit in a custom clock. My only complaint is that it didn't have brass hands that would fit my clock. Works very well otherwise

I just always wanted a PENDULUM. Never had one. Good mindfulness thing. GET THIS KIT. You can make it your own. Me? I am mounting it between a pair of old tv antennas. (Rabbit ears). You? Who knows.
