Fixed a 60 year old deep freeze
My parents deep freeze they purchased when I was born stopped working. I installed this and the freezer is now working. The repair shop told them they needed to replace the freezer - they were wrong.

Fixed pool pump not starting
Often when a pool pump will not start it's nothing more than a starter cap that costs around $10. They're easy to fix just be careful and disconnect the power before you replace it. Most of the connections on these are just clip on so there's no soldering or wiring. Just make sure you replace it with the same type capacitor

Works for my 20 yr old Smith Motor on my Pro Air compressor!
The media could not be loaded. Fits my PRFB5520VP-WK Pro Air, Air compressor! Finally found the exact size capacitor 136-163 uf (MFD) for the 20 year old Smith Motor. Old one was Mallory 625622-1 capacitor with three prongs, where the neutral was tied to the blue wire coming from the motor and on the negative prong as well. I had to de-solder my 15k resistor and put on the new capacitor. I looked everywhere for this because it’s so small, it’s the only one the actually fits the space inside the compressor motor housing. Thank you Amazon and seller for putting the dimensions on the picture. I wouldn’t have purchased otherwise!

Failed within 5 months
I bought this to troubleshoot a motor that was not working. It ended up not being the capacitor but I left it installed. Today, the Motor wouldn’t start so I put the old capacitor back in and motor worked. Past return window so I guess a review is all I can do.
