I paired this Renogy 200W Portable Solar Panel with my Anker SOLIX C1000 Gen 2, and it has proven to be a solid combination for camping and emergency power.Setup & Connections:Connecting the panel to the power station is simple with a Solar-to-XT60 adapter. I used a Bateria Power 10ft 12AWG extension cable. While the extra length is convenient for reaching from my truck bed to the station, the added resistance of the 10-foot run likely reduces the overall wattage slightly, but it is well within an acceptable range for my needs.Real-World Performance:Solar: With the panels laid flat on my truck’s tonneau cover under clear Utah skies, I am seeing about 154W of charging input into my Anker Battery. Hitting ~77% efficiency while laid completely flat (not angled) and running through an extension cable was impressive.Simultaneous Load: I also tested this while running my Dell Latitude 3550 (Core Ultra 7 155U CPU / Intel ARC Integrated GPU) at full performance. Even with an AI coding workload pulling approximately 60W of power from the battery, the panels provided plenty of overhead to run the laptop and charge the power station's battery simultaneously, and in the hour I used it, the battery never dropped below 99% and would hit 100% and automatically cut off the charging.AC Wall Power: For comparison, on a 110V outlet, it charges from 83% (my typical remaining charge after one night of CPAP use) to 100% in about 15 minutes.CPAP Reliability:My primary goal was to ensure I could run my CPAP machine indefinitely while off-grid. A typical night uses about 17% of the SOLIX’s total capacity, leaving the unit at 83% charge by morning. This solar setup recovers that 17% in less than 2 hours of decent sunlight. It also takes just under 2 hours to top off that same amount from a standard 12V vehicle accessory outlet.Future Plans:I am satisfied with the performance of this panel that I am considering adding a second set of identical panels to further reduce charge times or to account for less-than-ideal weather days.Pros:Solid real-world wattage (150W+ even when flat).Enough overhead to run a high-performance laptop and charge at the same time.Rugged and dependable for vehicle-based camping.Cons:Needs to come with a better case to protect the panels.Bottom Line:If you need a reliable way to maintain a power station for medical devices, high-end laptops, or off-grid work, this Renogy panel delivers. It’s efficient enough to handle daily CPAP usage with plenty of daylight to spare.

These panels are awesome! Easy to carry around, to setup, and they work great. I'm getting 90% efficiency on a hot sunny day. If it was colder it would be closer to 100%. These work as well as my rigid panels.Keep in mind that any shadow on any part of a solar panel is going to reduce the whole panel's output. It's a lowest common denominator kind of impact. Same thing with panels in series to match voltage. In series 1 panel can impact all panels.Panels want to be cold, so keep them off the ground (using the supports). Panels want full sun, so keep them pointed towards the sun and in the clear.

Haven't put it fully through its paces yet, but so far very pleased.Solid construction that seems like it will withstand the elements, easy to deploy, and connects to a Bluetti EB3A power box intuitively. On a bright, sunny day, it took the Bluetti from 80% charge to fully charged in about an hour.Will be using it to power lights, recharge phones and battery-powered fans in our vendor tent while working at outdoor festivals.

Upgraded my portable solar charging setup for my camper van LiFePo4 battery...good choice, good price, and relatively easy retrofit into my existing system (which also has a Renogy solar charge controller). The output more or less matched the stated specs but, as with any solar panel, your mileage may vary. Construction is good and reasonably lightweight for portable use, and it folds and stows neatly inside the van.

Even nicer than I anticipated. I used it last week while camping along a river. Generates lots of power even in imperfect conditions. And I was pleased to find that even though I dragged it through the dust to reposition it, the exterior stayed clean. For me it's a perfect investment in peace of mind that my battery is going remain charged enough for boondocking.

Really a very good solar panel. About a month ago, I purchased one of these solar panels and another competitive model for comparison. Both are good panels, but the Renogy produces a bit more power. Refer to my enclosed photo of my meter showing 209 W out of a 200 W solar panel. This is in Arizona full sun, but I did not take a lot of time positioning the solar panel. Definitely should perform as expected. I have purchased other Renogy solar panels and have been very happy with them. The quality seems to be good on this model and it looks like it should be fairly durable. I don’t think I’ll leave it out in the rain for too long, but it’s not gonna put out much power in the rain anyway. Very easy to take down and put away. I’m going to use it to recharge my EcoFlow power stations. I needed the portability, in case I need to take them on the road. Definitely a five star rated solar panel. I am very happy and recommend it to anybody.

I had high hopes for this panel (200watt) but it failed to deliver at every one of them. To start it never once put out more than 129 watts to either of my power stations or through my victron solar controller. It normally will hover in the 105-115 watt output range in full sun and with the angles as near perfect as possible.After my 2nd use the panels warped, just enough so that the suitcase will not stay together and the magnets can’t make contact. So it just falls apart unless you lay it down flat for storage and transport.The panel is also entirely wrapped in a kind of very cheap canvas (yes, including all contact points with the ground) so obviously they began to fray and fall apart almost immediately upon first use.I’ve got a few other renogy products that I’m mostly happy with but man they really missed the mark here because this thing is complete trash and the most poorly made and designed panel that I’ve seen so far. With the abysmal output and them seemingly being designed to fall apart as quickly as possible. I certainly wasn’t expecting to be having to buy another panel (definitely another brand) after less than a seasons worth of use but I guess that’s what I get for trusting in the company’s deceitful marketing and name while not doing my own research. Lesson learned

Bought two of these Renogy portable 200W solar panels for emergency use with solar power stations. With bright Fl sun (noon), both panels exceed the listed and rated watts.Very easy to unfold and set up.MC4 cables are found in a zippered pouch attached to the panel.Comes with “legs” to hold panels toward the sun.Need to buy MC4 cable disconnect tools, either plastic or metal to separate connections, which were not provided (not expensive). Update note: tools are NOT needed as these panels have releases built in.Recommend buying a storage bag to store them or for transporting them.Seem to be high quality and well made.Recommend buying Solar meter to determine and confirm watts, Vmp and amps.Update: 06/05/26 1:pm Fl 84 degrees -Tested these today with a solar panel meter in parallel and series. In bright sun, these two panels exceeded the ratings for watts (469 in parallel; 579W in Series) in both test modes. So much easier to set up than rigid solar panels.

This is a brilliant 200watt portable Solar Panel with amazing power output. I have tested it in my balcony on West window at 3pm in Mumbai and got a max 160watts reading on my Ecoflow Delta 2. I am sure it can churn some more digits of watts. Renogy+Ecoflow is an excellent combination. Good for camping and home power backup. Attached screenshot.

It works a treat!Plugged in to an Atom ESS 2200kw power station (via a 3.5m extension) it managed around 194W in full, bright sunshine.It still produces something even when it's a bit cloudy.I used it for the first time to top up the Atom and it worked.We charged phones, lights etc and boiled the kettle several times and still took it home with more juice in the Atom than when we started.The cable is a bit short which wasn't an issue as I needed to plug into an XC60 socket. Also, no other adapters supplied.Overall, I'd recommend it.

I paired this with a Blutetti Elite 30v2 which has a max of 10amp so I was bumping up against that 10 amp limit pretty consistently. After completely heat soaked at 4pm through a pigeon net. I was getting 155w into the Bluetti. This is a limitation of Bluetti as it was consistently hitting that 10 amp limit. To be fair this is probably overkill for the small 288w unit I own, I'll have to do proper tests charging my ebike with my boost converter which can take 15amps max. However since these panels all run in parallel you can literally shade an entrire panel and still get a 150w panel. So what I did is fold one side and the other to create a 100w panel which is great if you want a smaller footprint or you're in the woods and have a small sliver of sun and I got 87w on one set of 2 panels and 86w on the other on the stands which needed to be leaned down more to be fully aligned to the sun. That's 173w output. This is in alignment with people reporting between 170 to 190 out of this panel. If you could lean it on a fence or or a picnic table to properly align it I'm sure I'd get more. The legs are fine, however they only angle down to maybe 35-40 degrees or so, so in mid summer you are probably losing some watts during peak 10am to 2pm peak hours, in spring or fall you're good. I'm sure it was just a compromise for different latitudes. Fortunately it's small enough you can get creative if necessary angling it with a log, or the side of an RV, fence, whatever to properly angle it during peak summer months. However all that being said you could just set it to as low as it will go on the stands, with some minor adjustments to face towards the sun and you're still probably going to get at least 170ish(+ or - 15w) with it, even completely heat soaked(I only test when heat soaked, not cold peak). You could probably be even totally lazy just face it due south and get some decent power out of it. Like I said even without any bypass diodes it's extremely shade tolerant. With me just putting my hand over the top of it the watts only drop maybe 10-15w which would kill a lot of panels that are in series. All in all for the amazing price of $215 Canadian you're getting a panel with over %80 efficiency(150w+) which is considered excellent for a panel for about $1 Canadian a watt, you can't go wrong. Because of the shading tolerance this can be a sort of "set and forget" if you wish if you're camping and going fishing, etc and still get decent power out it just by pointing it south and walking away for a few hours. No wonder they sold out so quickly.
