Bought this to use in public. It was a PERFECT fit for my MSI Stealth 16:9 screen. It works so well, someone sitting next to me (legs touching) cannot see all the naughty things I'm doing. I would like to see less glare (even on the matte side) but the reflectiveness actually adds to the security. It's pretty simple to clean with the notch at the top so you're able to pull it away from the laptop. I will buy these for all of my laptops now.

I got this for my DGbook laptop. It works spectacularly!! It does NOT block the view from directly behind you but it says that in multiple places between the description here and on the packaging it comes in. It does exceptionally well at blocking the views from people sitting right next to you. You can choose to use either side, gloss or matte. I used side that provides more protection since I work in a field that requires me to protect my clients PHI and I take my laptop around the office. The filter comes with two ways to attach it to your screen. You need to figure out which will work best. I used the sticky things mine came with. It looks like little pieces of tape. I really thought it wasn't going to work out at first but I've had no problems with the adhesive coming undone whatsoever. The little adhesives do show and it did bother me the first day, but now I don't even notice. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Man, I gotta say, this Magicmoon privacy filter is a game-changer if you value your screen privacy at work or in public places. I got it mainly to stop my nosy co-workers from being able to easily glance over at my screen when I'm working on sensitive stuff. Installation was a breeze - just a simple stick-on job with no air bubbles or misalignment issues. And let me tell you, it really does keep randos from being able to see your screen unless they're pretty much sitting right next to you. My field of view is wide open, but anyone trying to sneak a peek from an angle just sees a black screen. The one little downside is that it does make your screen look a tad dimmer when viewed head-on. Not crazy dim, but enough that you might need to bump up the brightness a notch or two. For me, it's a small price to pay for having that anti-spy protection. All in all, if you spend any time working on private things in shared spaces, this Magicmoon filter is definitely worth grabbing. Keeps the pesky snooper co-workers away without turning your laptop into a secret agent gadget. Two thumbs up from me!

This is a great privacy filter at a fraction of the cost of other brand name filters! Just check the measurements of your laptop screen against the dimensions of the product. It fit my Dell Latitude work laptop perfectly. If you plan on removing the filter from time to time, just take that into account in your placement of the filter holders on the bezel of your screen.

I really wanted this privacy screen to work, but it’s been a big disappointment. The main problem is that it simply won’t stay attached to the laptop. The stickers provided don’t hold well at all, and within a short time the screen starts peeling off or falling completely. I tried reapplying multiple times, but the adhesive loses its stick quickly and becomes useless. Even when it was temporarily in place, the edges never sat flush, so it constantly looked loose and awkward. That made it distracting to use, and it also made me worry about dust getting underneath. For something that’s supposed to protect the screen and give privacy, it defeats the purpose if it can’t stay secure. It’s a shame, because the idea of extra privacy is great, but the execution here is very poor. For the price, I expected better quality and stronger adhesive. Unfortunately, this product is not worth the money. I would recommend looking for another brand with sturdier mounting options.

Easy to put on and took off. Can choose the resolution of how dark or light you want.
