My grandson loves it. He is 18 mos and enjoyed putting it together himself.

Gave as a gift and can add water

We thought it was really cute but it also does dent very easily. I literally received it yesterday and it's already got a dent and that green grip piece got torn off. So that was kind of aggravating...It's still usable, but based on how easy the pastic dented *****really easily***** I will be surprised if it lasts long.

Grandkids love it.

My son is in a prolonged “maximum effort” phase. He loves trying to carry really heavy things like boxes and furniture but those are often dangerous and difficult for him to grip. This set is perfect! All of the weights at the same time are just beyond his capability but he likes exerting himself. He’s 23 months but even for baby strength, he’s really strong. He looks adorable lugging this barbell. I do wish the foam cushioned grip was just a little wider. If he uses both hands, they barely fit on the cushion together. The “weights” arrive as hollow plastic and you fill them yourself which is what I was expecting. I filled ours with water because it was readily available. Took a little jiggling to fully fill it. VISUALLY CHECK THE PLUGS before using. One of mine had a defect and leaked water. It was a small hole where the plastic didn’t completely fill the mold. Luckily they included one spare so I had exactly what I needed. So high five to them. The bar feels sturdy without being too heavy. I haven’t had any other leak issues since I replaced that plug. The plugs have stayed in well and my toddler hasn’t been able to pull any of them out. It’s a really good development toy.

My toddler is always trying to steal my weights while working out which is cute but very discouraging as a mama trying to get back in shape. I saw these and they were perfect. The weights are not heavy on their own he’s 2.5 and can easily lift it up above his head will all over the plates attached. You can actually increase the weights on them by filling with water. I will do this as he gets older and ready for a bit more of a challenge. For now its all fun to have his own big boy weights like mama.

They are a little hard to fill with sand because the hole is so small; I am afraid to fill with water because they are used indoors. If you don't mind having water toys in the house then this wouldn't be an issue. It would also ensure that both sides weigh the same. I wish there was more than one bar, my kids like to mimic me and I don't always do single arm exercises. Love being able to workout with my kids, be a role model - my 5 yr old now asks when we are going to the gym
