Yes, it's expensive and I'm not sure I will ever get over the price, I really would like to know why it's so costly. Anyway, you need to get over the cost. As one reviewer said, the Amtico is so expensive, you've already made that initial outlay, so you have to look after your floors so they last. As far as I'm aware, there's not a cheaper alternative. It does a brilliant job and I love looking at the floors after they are cleaned and it even seemed to get rid of scratches. The good news is, you can use much less product than they say as the water was far too soapy using the recommended ratio and it was hard to leave the floor without the suds, so that was a lovely bonus!
