We pick from many bolts in store. You can request flowers, kids and toys, pinks, blues, lavender, etc. if not specified we pick 2 each of blue pink yellow green and then lavender or red or brown or black for contrast. Most people want florals but we also have many kids scenes and geometric. Many out of print and the 30s hard to find bolts. Not many printing so we search for stock all the time. A fat quarter is 18x21 inches or slightly larger. It is half of a half yard (18x42) therefore a fat quarter yard. A piece measuring 5x5 is usually called a charm piece, or a chip. Confusing!
