Not a UK model, buy elsewhere is my advice
The macerator works fine and is an upgrade to an older model which finally died on me. I anticipate the ability to remove blockages via the inspection panel will be of benefit (Always! always disconnect before doing so or you'll macerate your fingers). My annoyance is that this was not a UK model. Yes, it had the correct power specification but it came with a molded continental plug on it. On top of that the UK model includes a plastic exhaust pipe which provides a flexible connection to a 22mm outlet. This is shown on the instructions but only for UK models. Fortunately, as I was replacing a broken one I had the pipe. I bought this from Amazon because I was in a hurry and indeed got it next working day (as a Prime member) but my advice is buy one from a registered UK dealer.
