I ordered this item on the basis of requiring a rack to store a series of cds by a particular singer (Katie Melua) and am one album short currently (ordered and on its way!!) Of her studio albums so I thoroughly checked out all of the racks available on amazon and painstakingly read all of the reviews as I always do on every product I buy from them. Firstly the rack needs no assembly, it's sturdy enough, storage capacity is sufficient for my needs and it fits neatly onto the shelving were it going to be permanently housed an important point as some reviews state that it's open sided and thus subject to the cds/dvds etc can fall out if the unit is moved and sometimes removing a disc can cause others to move, well, yes both can happen so if you're prone to moving your collections around this rack isn't for you and I've found that being just a bit careful whilst removing and replacing cds I'm not experiencing movement much at all and again, this racks not for you if you're impatient and want things done "5 minutes ago "- final observation: value for money? I've never judged anything via " value for money" rather that a product MUST do exactly what it was designed to do and if it doesn't then it's not value for money whatever it costs, this rack is designed to store cds box ticked job done.

Does what it says holds 14 cds feels a bit flimsy
