excellent 'all round' soap. works very well as a shampoo/hair, beard soap. I normally use Packers pine tar soap for shampoo. but the Birch tar soap is just as good (try using 'normal' bars of soap as a shampoo, and you'll know what I mean) but improves on the Packers by removing ALL scalp itching. even use it to clean my bath taps. very pleased.
