I have these placed strategically throughout my house. Everyone in the house knows exactly where they are just in case of an emergency. I have faith in this brand that it will be fully functional and ready to go in the event of an emergency.

Every household needs a large fire extinguisher...TRUST ME. After i almost lost my polebarn, I bought 6. One for each building we own!!

a great safety product for any place

Product came covered in dry chemical, make sure you open it outside your home. There is no tamper seal on the pin. the pin is loose and was almost falling out of the handle. The handle is extremely loose. The pin seems to hold it from being pressed. Not sure if it will work or not tbh. It shows the pressure full on the product. but with the way this handle is designed I won't trust this as a main fire extinguisher. Luckily I contacted amazon support and they gave me a refund Bu I'll stick to buying First Alert brand fire extinguishers from now on.

After checking several of my old fire extinguishers and figuring out that many of them had failed completely or were almost discharged, I started getting new ones. Talk about a false sense of security. Although these powder based extinguishers are messy, these will get the job done when needed. I've seen reviews on the water-based extinguishers that work OK on some types of fires and the "Sticks" that do almost nothing. I'll most like stick with these Kidde units for my house and garage. Do your own research, but from I can see, these Kidde units work very well when needed.
