Starter Women's Open-Bottom Sweatpants with Pockets, Amazon Exclusive

I liked the idea of these more than the execution. I like the more slender leg of these, and the pockets are actual pockets. Not the crappy tiny ones most women's clothes have. The waistband was a little snug, but it has loosened with wear. Actually, these fit kind of weird on me when I first put them on and then after washing. Tight in the butt and waistband, but as mentioned, they do loosen and fit better with wear. They are very warm and soft. My biggest complaints are, they started to pill on the inner thigh (I have a little chub rub. Leave me alone, and after washing the legs shrunk up a tad. These aren't the longest pants to begin with. I'm 5'7" so I'm not super tall. But I really would like a pair of these that are made for tall folks. The shrinking isn't so much that they are major floods or anything. But it's enough for me to notice. Other than those few little things, decent value for the money.

Who designed these? Skinny legs with monster inseams. I bought 4 pair, 2 for myself and 2 for my wife. The legs are skinny and uncomfortable, yet the inseam is so damn big it hangs to your knees. You need to pull these up to your armpits like Steve Urkel to wear them. I am returning these.

These pants are awkward fitting. The pockets bulge out and look like ears. In addition, they are uncomfortable: tight in the wrong places and too long. The fabric is also sweaty feeling, not at all comfortable. I can't wear them. But I can't return them because I got them while I was away on vacation, and by the time I got back and tried them, the return window had closed. I guess I'll donate them to a used clothing place. Poor soul who buys them again, though.

Bought these (2 pair-medium) as a Christmas gift for my mother in law. Based on other brands she has worn, a medium size should have fit her. They just fit before they were washed but shrank quite a bit in the wash. I purchased 2 sized large. Although the overall fit was ok, the waistband was very snug and unforgiving. All four pair are now in the donation box!

Had high hope for this pants after reading the review. But I felt weird after putting it on. At first I thought the legs might be too tight as other people mentioned in their review. I then realized that only the left leg was tight. The right leg was okay. so I measured the width around thigh. The left one is about 1.5 inch narrower! Does this manufacture have any quality control? I returned it on the same day. will absolutely not buy any product by that brand.

Note: The "Team Purple" color is the same rich purple color as the matching Amazon/Starter "Team Purple" hoodie, even though the photos make them appear slightly different shades.I like a lot of things about these: They're soft, warm, a nice fabric weight (standard "sweatshirt weight"), pockets lie flat & dont bulge out @ hips as much as other pocketed sweats, very comfortable soft & flat waistband, and a flat drawstring that's on the INSIDE of the waistband so it doesn't create a lump under your shirt. The fit/sizing is about the same as Champion sweatpants.But, like the picture shows, these have tapered legs which don't do justice to many folks' figures, especially shorter people or folks with larger hips. I'd prefer a straight leg to a tapered one.And, the outside leg seams, which actually have a nicely finished stitching detail, puckers a little bit here & there, which doesnt help with the silhouette lol.I'll definitely wear these a lot at home during the colder months, but I probably won't be seen walking in them. But these might be perfect for anyone who likes tapered legs and soft, warm fabric.

These pants were quite short and quite tight around my calves but did fit me at the waist, hips and thighs. Did not like the fit at all and now know that I should initially order only one pair of pants in order to see how they fit. Unfortunately, I'm stuck with 3 pairs of these high-water pants - I am 5'6" and normally wear a size 12.

I purchased this item as a gift for someone but was disappointed because the description did not specify it was a slim cut on legs.The photo of the item is misleading because it shows a loose cut sweatpants, not slim cut.Quality of material and workmanship is good however, hence three stars instead of one.
