Mesh Stainless Steel Filter Screen
Good filter screen and gets the job done. It is VERY sharp and will cut your hand and if you cut it. A few stainless steel bits can fall off and poke you when you cut it as well. It is easy to use, and the steel is nice and strong and manageable to fit over the air vent. The filter screen isn’t too thin so it can easily block bugs from getting in. The amount of the screen you receive is also a good amount for the price.

Super strong! Using this to varmint proof some vents.

Good product, bad packaging
The only complaint I have about this mesh roll is the plastic wrap it comes in. If you have arthritis and/or tendonitis like me, you may also spend several minutes trying to unwrap a seemingly endless amount of plastic wrap before you get to the mesh roll. I was afraid to use scissors or a box cutter on the plastic for fear I'd damage the sheet. Surely, there's a better way to package this.

No more spideys
Cuts easily with scissors and does the job. Skip the metal adhesive—hot glue worked way better. Great for keeping bugs out!

Perfect to close small gaps.
For my application this product was excellent. I used it to cover the gap between my patio gate and the patio floor that mice were using to get free access to my patio. It's perfect for that application because it will let the water on my patio floor drain out through the wire mess when it rains. This material bends easily and it stays how you bend it, which is what I need for my application. It came in a roll so I had to roll it backward to get it flat and flat it stayed. I secured it to my wooden gate with #4 3/4" wood screws. It's easy to cut with regular scissors. I recommend using gloves when handling to protect hands because the edges can cut the skin easily.

It’s just okay.
Used to stop kids from tossing stuff into vents, kinda works. Be careful if you order, it will rip your fingers open after you cut it. It did require modification to fit zip ties through!

Works Perfect
We had a mice problem and I used these to block where we thought they were coming through and it has solved our problem! My only complaint would be that it is VERY sharp when you cut it, so be careful when handling the rough edges

Good quality mesh.
Needed this mesh to seal off gaps around a window air conditioner. This was "moldable/shapeable" enough to form a shape/structure that would stay in place and that I could spray foam on. Suggest you have a metal shear that can cut wire, this is not flimsy, it's good quality. Material will not deteriorate if exposed to tropical weather elements or chemically react to the foam, so should be good for years to come.

Cut with scissors- super easy. Side cutters won't work interestingly enough. Used to cover some vents after a mouse moved into my wall. Completely stopped their movement paths and made the home unwelcoming while still allowing air flow through the ducts.

If you're looking for the mesh equivalent of Fort Knox, this is it. But it's an absolute nightmare to cut. Plan on getting a new pair of tin snips, or sharpen the heck out of your older ones. The edges are so sharp that just by lightly touching them you can cut yourself. Do yourself a favour and wear work gloves when handling it. I don't see anything being able to get through this easily, whether it's bugs or rodents. It would even work as something like a sieve to catch larger particulates. Just, yeah. It's sharp as heck and difficult to cut.
