LifeProof Nuud Case for Apple iPad Air 2 - Black

I have a son who is nearly 3 with complex medical and special needs, life proof cases have been the only cases I have tried that so far have actually worked with protecting the iPad from my son. We have tried the griffin survivor cases and he broke 2 iPads in 6 months! He has the iPad in his hand from the moment he wakes until the moment he goes to bed, he drops it multiple times a day, he dribbles on it, it goes in the sand pit, you name it the iPad has been there! It gets a lot of stick! He bites it! My son has 2 iPads as one doesn't last the day. In 6 months we have had to have 1 new screens which really is not bad if you could see the stick the iPad gets but this would be my only real improvement, we have the iPad Air case and the air 2 case as my son has one of each and although it may be beneficial for some to actually touch the screen I would prefer it if life proof cases had a actual built in screen protector. As my only problem is if the screen gets bashed etc but I guess you could buy a film screen protector but not sure how much protection they offer, and it just seems daft to me to have a case with this level of protection which doesn't offer any actual screen protection!! One of the pluses for me with this case is that it's water proof, my son has very limited understanding and the case protects against any contact with water, whether that's dribble, in the sink, his water tray or when he has dropped it into puddles etc

Seems like good protection for my new iPad Air2. I was using the Apple case for my iPad, but I got irritated with it not standing up well when I needed it to. Decided to go for this case and a separate tablet/cookbook stand. This cover makes the pad easy to hold, which I do because I read on it a lot. It is a little difficult to get the fingerprint scanner to work with this case. I peeled the protective sheet off the fingerprint hole and the helps a little. I do have a screen protector on under this case and it makes the perfect combination.

Great case, lasted in good shape for two years despite me dropping constantly has always protected my iPad. Defiantly worth the money

What a relief to be able to use the iPad in splashy conditions, afloat and ashore. And to be able to drop it too! Ideal for my outdoors activities, including sailing.

I'm looking for a LifeProof case for an iPad Air 2. Unfortunately this is the second one I've bought from Amazon which states its designed for the Air2, only to receive a case designed for the original Air.Yes the case fits, but some of the buttons are in the wrong place meaning the volume button is jammed down and there's no way to turn it down. The listing for an iPad Air2 case is actually for an iPad Air case.

The case seems great but I just don't understand how they can sell a life proof case and not provide a screen protector with it. It's like there's something missing from the product. The product is too expensive not to give me 100% piece of mind when it comes to the protection of ALL aspects on my iPad.Anyone recommend how to protect screen?

Pricey, but if you value your iPad...you won't get better. Wouldn't be without it. Totally protects it.
