Two in one!
Perfect! We have young children who need a pencil sharpener occasionally. This sharpener is perfect. It offered both the larger sharpener for pencils and a smaller sharpener for map pencils. The shavings are collected in an attached bin and there is a safely cover on the top to keep little fingers (or other materials) from getting into the area where the blades are.

Sharpens pencils effortlessly. Bought for the Ticonderoga ‘my first’ pencil. Fits barrel size and does the job easily. Hope this stays sharp for long time. Price a bit high for product but will be worth it if it lasts long and keeps doing it’s job well.

I love all things Ticonderoga
I bought this for the large sharpener and I fell in love. It is easy to use and gets the pencils very sharp, quickly. It fits nicely in the hand and is easy to empty when full.

Works for Ticonderoga pencils
Finally found a sharpener that does not break the graphite when sharpening Ticonderoga Black Pencils. It seems sharp with a large collection bin. The flexible top to cover the holes does pop off if it's in the way and can be popped back in but I don't think it's really needed. I will keep this product and am happy with it's sharpening abilities.
