Great walnuts. Will buy again and again and again!

All the nuts were on the old side, often stale and faintly rancid. Several were already cracked, exposing the nuts inside to possible contamination. A few showed evidence of mold; at least a tenth were sunburned. Some of the nuts were fine. The USDA has three classifications for the quality of nuts in the shall, all of which require that nuts be largely free from damage and dark discoloration. These nuts are in poor enough condition that I doubt that they would meet the qualifications for even the lowest grade. Overall, the nuts appeared to be last year's rejects.

The walnuts were very good. I would rather get them out of the shell myself so that I don't eat more than a handful. Good value.
