This item bares no resemblance to cod fish roe. These pieces of worm size things they sell as Cod Roe, are covered in slimy residue. No flavour, not a trace of salt, unedible. I tasted a tiny piece, had to spit it out and rince my mouth. Even the cat bulked and would taste it. Put the lot in the bin. My sister tried hers too, treat I thought...she said it was the most disgusting tinned food she had ever seen. We are in our late 60s, have loved the proper Cod Roe since early childhood. DO NOT BUY!
