Great Product combining two importing items!
I owned the org 2211 with the metal body back around 2015, lent it to a police officer friend and let him keep it as a gift. This year for my birthday I figured I'd treat myself and get the watch version. Extremely glad I did! I really enjoy watches and flashlights so I was excited when I saw this combo for such an affordable price! The watch functions perfect even after shooting multiple times and the flashlight is extremely bright. The beam is nice and wide and it has a decent throw. Using the side buttons the mode controls can be turned down for tasks around the house and job site that don't require all 300 lumens which is great. I own multiple surefire products and like the others it does not disappoint in any manner. Being a U.S. Marine I'm pretty hard on my gear and it takes everything I've thrown at it without missing a beat. I currently work in a tactical shop and wear this watch often and it always attracts attention with fellow tactical guys and light enthusiasts. Would buy again a heartbeat if I ever needed to.

Great EDC light for tactical and everyday purpose
This is by far one of the favorite and useful items in my edc gear. I not only have it for tactical reasons but also for everyday purposes such as walking my dog at night I have it on to always be ready for dangerous situations. The only complaint I have to say is that I wished the band was more secure since in the past I’ve had the little screw holding the band together come off but this can easily be fixed but if it comes off when you don’t realize it you could lose the thing. I also wished they came with a less expensive version with a watch to blend in as the wrist light by itself gets a lot of curious people noticing it so if you’re trying to be discreet and all then go for the watch version.

Convenient and Reliable
Over the last few years, I've seen people move more and more to head and hat mounted lights when hunting; but, I hate feeling like I'm blinding everybody I look at and don't like wearing hats that much anyway. As a result, I've stuck to standard hand-held flashlights - which work great, but can be inconvenient in some situations. This wrist-mounted light from Surefire is an excellent alternative to head-mounted lights; and, personally I think it's superior for several reasons: 1) It keeps your hands free just like a head-mounted light. 2) It can be easily aimed in directions other than your direct line of sight. For example, when walking through the woods at night I don't need a light shining out into the distance - I want something illuminating in front of my feet. 3) Personally, I don't like wearing ball caps or lights strapped to my head; and, as a result, this is much more comfortable for me. 4) Surefire thought the angle of the light out well, and this seems made to either light up a path, or direct light in the direction you need without much effort. 5) This 2211X light works great for either minimal illumination (which is typically what I need for moving around) or for lighting up a field in the middle of the night. 6) I love that this works with standard CR123a lithium batteries - since that's what I seem to be standardizing most of my hunting accessories on anyway. They last forever and can be stored in equipment without worries of leakage. Nothing is perfect, and there are definitely some downsides if you're thinking of using this for hunting: 1) The most obvious is definitely the cost. Having said that, you're buying a Surefire product and it's going to last forever. 2) This is pretty bulky - similar to wearing a G-Shock watch. As a result, it may take some getting used to if you're not a 'watch person'. Since I do wear a watch, I've been wearing this 2211X on my right wrist when hunting and it works great. 3) If you've got cold-weather or rain gear on, this can be a bit of a challenge to get it to shine out of the coat or rain jacket sleeve. I used it while hunting during a tropical storm, and it didn't feel quite as convenient as it has at other times... Next time I'm going to strap it on outside the sleeve to see if it works better. Overall, if you're looking for a hands-free light that's more flexible than a standard head-mounted unit - I think this is probably the best option out there right now.

You don't know you need until you have it.
I love this light. I am a home inspector and often find I need just one more hand: one is holding a camera (phone), one to hold a flashlight, and another to hold onto a rafter, etc. I am often in crawl spaces or attics and just turning on this light is enough to safely get around. It is plenty bright too. I wish I had bought this years ago. I hope it holds up as it was not cheap. I have been using a Surefire flashlight for years, and it is still going strong.

Honest and impartial review.
This little light is amazing! I only wish we had lights like this in the military when I was in. It's extremely bright, the battery life is as stated for each lumen setting and is quite comfortable on the wrist. It is slightly bulkier than a watch, but given the size of the CR123 battery that powers it, there isn't much more bulk on top of that. It is also incredible how often I use it; going down to the basement, looking in the trunk of the car, even when I have to get up in the middle of the night, its there. On top of the tactical uses for police officers (it is quite blinding), this is an excellent EDC light.

Unacceptable for high risk environments
I generally love Surefire products, but not this light. Battery low voltage shut off is simply too abrupt for any mission critical application. Let me explain in detail, starting with the attributes of the light: The form factor for the light is lovely. The beam pattern is as it should be - flood, wide angle. Perfect for 25 yard acquisition of target with firearm in hand - two handed hold of the firearm. Absolutely perfect. You are able to light up the target and ample surrounding area. The problem with this light is the auto shut off when the battery is low - hitting around 2.7 volts. The shut off is abrupt - no warning at all. There is no gradual dimming, no quick flashes of light at initial light engagement, no warning whatsoever. This is simply unacceptable. In my Surefire Defender model (1 battery model), the light will dim gradually as the battery drains. At 2.7 volts, the light will still turn on, albeit in dim fashion. You have usable light in the duration with ample warning that you must change batteries. With the Defender model, you are never left in complete darkness unless you fail to heed the ample warning signs that you need to change to a fresh battery. With the 2211X, I am afraid. Unless you measure the battery voltage prior to each tour or trip, you have the risk of complete darkness at a crucial time. Light to total darkness in a split second with no warning. This simply unacceptable in a mission critical piece of equipment. Surefire, you need to fix this!

A very unique flashlight right on your wrist!
Very lightweight and simple to use. I love the handy button right in front to go through the various illuminations. The highest level 300 lumens gets the job done in most cases. Really enjoying this wrist flashlight!

Perfect for practical uses
This light is by far the most practical of the wrist lights. A removeable battery means you can put it away in a drawer and not worry about it recharging. A beam that cycles from blinding to perfectly useable with the tap of a button. very comfortable strap that will go around a jacket and the watch-style spring pins make changing to any other strap fast and easy. The IPX7 water resistance means you don't have to worry about using it in the rain. Perfect

Used it for less than 6 months and spoilt.... Lousy product. Charged it but watch didn't move. Flashlight work though.
