This is a good digital dial indicator. I'm a machinist 40+ years and put this through many uses with great results. Feel safe to buy. Great accuracy.

Fantastic Customer Service !!! This Digital Gauge works Great. I have used this on many projects, from adjusting the bed on my 3D printer to adjusting my table saw to ensure the blade is parallel to the miter slot and the fence. Including using on my hobby CNC metal mill and a Sherline lathe. A week ago, I was working in my shop and I dropped the protective cover on the top of the digital gauge. It bounced off my shoe and the cover was never to be seen again. I found the customer service email online and sent them an email trying to purchase the replacement cover. They replied and asked what the Amazon order number and my address. In 6 days I had a replacement cover and was back in business, the 6 days included the 4th of July holiday. I purchased this gauge in 2017 and 8 years later the sales manager is still taking care of a customer. WOW AWESOME Thank you

It's a decent tool, and I've bought 2 of them. It's a really silly design decision to use a generic USB port on your product if plugging a USB into it will fry the board. The description, warning sticker, and website all say "Don't do it", but they don't say that it's going to ruin the gauge. Why not just come out and say it? Or, even better, don't use a port with a common established standard that destroys your product. Edit: Upgraded to 5 star for great customer service. I was contacted by the company and issued a refund for my original purchase way after it was eligible. I still stand behind my original review that using a micro USB port for a proprietary reader is a bad idea if it will be fried by attaching it to a standard USB port
