My daughter and I both practice jiu jitsu so I ordered this product to help our grip strength training. It comes with a set that simulates the collar and another set that simulates the sleeves. The material is standard pearl weave gi material which makes training with them very life like. It also comes with a rubber tubing you can use to attach to the collars and sleeves to perform guard retention drills. Overall a great product! Please note, you will have to buy carabiners separately to attach the product to the rubber tubing or machines in the gym.

Very well made product! Extremely versatile as well. You can use the elastic cord it comes with, you can attach it to different cable machines and lift with it, or my personal favorite it hang it on a pull up bar and use the grips to do pull ups!

It was simple to add attachments and ready to use immediately. The band is durable and the gi material the manufacturer uses is of the best quality for grips that gives you confidence for competition.This product will last you years. I’ve added this to my warmup routine to strengthen my grips and work my many guard reversals and guard retentions. The manufacturer and its employees care about quality control and customer service. I recommend not only this product but all elite products rather you are a serious competitor or a hobbyist..

These grips are pretty handy. They feel like actual gi material and are durable. I’m only 5’3 so the resistance tube is a bit long but the grips are removable and can be used in the gym or with other resistance tubes. Great training tool although some hardware was missing.

I stumbled upon this when our club needed a new set, and I am incredibly pleased with this purchase.- The grips are excellent for developing grip strength, and enough like gi material that it simulates the real thing.- The bands are durable! We have many judoka that are new to uchikomi bands, and I am sure that these will withstand use and abuse.- This set actually came with an extra pair of grips, which will easily attach to other bands that we already have at our dojo.All in all: Few products warrant a 5/5 stars. For me, that means I will buy again, as well as recommend to others. Great for strength training for jiu jitsu grips for both lapel and sleeve grips (includes both sets), practicing judo throws and even just using for strengthening and conditioning and PT or rehab like you would with therabands. Very durable elastic band.
