Sewing the recipe cards is very simple, however, I found the instructions in the book for the Marzipan quilt poor. I've been making quilts for 9 years and found this particular quilt frustrating. Seams don't nest, without repressing some. There is a lot of bulk in the center of the block even with seams pressed open. This is not a well planned out quilt.
