These bread slings are a MUST for making sourdough bread easier! I have two of these, made of silicone. I bake my bread at 450 degrees and have no trouble with these at all - had them for a couple months, used two times a week or so. They absolutely make it easier to maneuver the dough into the dutch oven and to lift the bread safely out of the dutch oven when done baking. It is safer and it is very helpful for clean up of the dutch oven as well.I like to bake with berry inclusions, so I also add parchment paper over my sling for fastest clean up.

love these! i am new at sourdough bread and these have been amazing and so easy to use!!! these are definitely worth the money. i have not had an issue with sticking or anything like that.

I could not be more happy with this. Works great, protects dutch oven, prevents boule bottom from burning, and cleans like a dream. I recommend orienting the sides perpendicular to the handles on your baking vessel so they do not overlap with your handles, as shown in photograph here. Also, be sure to use hand protection when handling straight out of the hot oven, the silicone gets hot!

Works like it should but let it cool a little before handling or use mits. The “cool” spots need a couple minutes.

They’re good for the size of bread we work with.

I don’t know how I made bread without these before. If you’re even looking at them and reading comments, just go buy it. Don’t look anymore.

Happy with these, just wish the “handles “ were slightly longer and had a hole in them.

Works well in Dutch oven to put the bread in and take it out …much easier than parchment paper.
