I really just needed LED headlights.I love my Jeep Wrangler JL, upgrading its headlights was a significant decision for me. After much research and deliberation, I opted for the TruMOD 9” LED headlights. Here’s my comprehensive review of the TruMOD after market upgrade. Design & Build Quality: They are the closest in design to Jeep OEM headlights, that perfectly complements the rugged aesthetic of the Jeep Wrangler JL. High-quality materials, time will tell how they hold up. Installation: Installing the headlights was surprisingly straightforward, thanks to the plug-and-play design. With no cutting or splicing required, I was able to complete the installation in about 2 hours using a flat head screw driver (to remove the buttons in the grill) and a 10mm socket wrench to remove the headlights. I watched a youtube video by Offbeat Motors. Performance: These headlights deliver a white beam with a cool temperature, significantly improving visibility in low-light conditions, enhancing safety during nighttime driving. Brightness & Beam Pattern: The brightness of the headlights are truly amazing, outshining the stock halogen lights by a significant margin. What I noticed most, is how the beam lit up the side of the road on the passenger side as well as slightly going over the middle line on the drivers side but not where it would blind oncoming cars. Durability & Weather Resistance: Since I only just installed these I cannot review this yet, however the IP67 waterproof rating ensures reliable performance in even the harshest environments, making them ideal for outdoor enthusiasts and adventure seekers. If anything changes, I will update. Overall Impression: In conclusion, the TruMOD 9” LED headlights are an awesome investment for any Jeep Wrangler JL owner looking to upgrade their lighting system without paying JEEP OEM prices!. With the sleek design, easy installation, and outstanding performance (so far), these headlights exceed expectations in every aspect. **I’m a 54yo mom. I’m not a mechanic by any means and I don’t normally “work” on my own vehicles. But so far in my jeep, I’ve installed, by myself, a tow bar, security lugs, LED headlights, and LED fog lights. I remember going to Wyoming last fall and got pulled over for having a headlight out. The guy let me go with a warning, the next day I went to a jeep dealer and had them put in a new bulb ($54). They had a heck of a time - I mean it took them almost 45min. While I was there I asked the techs about what it would take to get them swapped for LEDs. They made it seem like a huge deal and super expensive… around $1200 just for the lights and that does not include labor. I’m so glad I got this kit and decided to try the install on my own.

By far the best upgrade I have done to my jeep by far. Drop in led headlights at this price? Worth every penny. Install tool 15-20 minutes. These are bright!! They look great as well. Anytime someone asks what’s. Good headlight for a gladiator I always suggest these! I have a 2024 Gladiator and did not have any lights come on the dash or flickering after install.

I have a Gladiator Sport and the headlights it comes with are absolutely awful. Very poor visibility at night which is dangerous with the amount of deer we have in the area. These replacement headlights are high quality, automotive painted metal cases, polycarbonate lenses, an order of magnitude of an upgrade for brightness, quality and appearance. Pretty easy installation as well! Highly recommend.

Headlights came well packaged, and included the required wire harness to power the DRL Halo rings from a fuse in the fuse box. The installation is very easy. Don’t let having to remove the front grille scare you, it’s very simple. I initially wired the Halo rings to the fuse box for testing, but later cut the wire shorter and connected it to my factory Aux Switch 4 wiring, so I can now turn the halo DRLs off if I want to. The headlights themselves are nice and bright, with a decently sharp cutoff line to the low beam. The Halo rings are much brighter than most others (including the Mopar LEDs if you can find them) so should work well as DRLs. What was not made clear in the product description is that the rectangular projector lens in the center is for the low beam. The high beam comes from the reflector area around the outside of that center projector. What’s very nice is that the low beam projector stays on when you switch to high beam, so you retain good, wide, foreground illumination while the high beam is throwing the light further down the road. My only challenge has been adjusting them so that the low beam is low enough not to blind oncoming drivers. I have the upper screw all the way out and the two lower screws all the way in, and it is just level. I want them aimed a few degrees downward, so will have to modify the screws somehow or else shim the mounting screws to tilt the headlamp down more. It may be that my Jeep is sitting high in the front.

They are good now. I hope they last. Easy install and look great on the gladiator.

I purchased these for my 2025 Jeep Gladiator in December of 2025. The good: These look real nice. They have more of an OEM look/finish than most other after market lights. It took me about 30 minutes to install. They fit just like the OEM lights that came off did. Everything is plug and play except for the wire that has to be run if you are going to power the halo. That too, was super easy to do. The lights were very bright, a big upgrade over incandecent lights. Low beams provided a real clear view of the road ahead. High beams were like spot lights in the unlit Texas hill country roads. The bad: The high beams and one low beam failed 10 months after install. I reached out to customer support and they had me test the lights. I confirmed that the lights had failed and reported back to them. They promptly sent out a replacement set and asked for the failed ones to be returned via pre-paid shipping. For this reason I am giving them 4 stars.

I was eagerly awaiting these headlights, because halogen bulbs just don’t cut it anymore. The installation took me 20 minutes start to finish. Pop the push pins out, a less than moderate tug on the grill, unbolt the old lights, wire the DRL harness from the fuse box and reverse the prior stuff with the new headlight assemblies. Bright and crisp…a total must for safety. They fit perfectly and look expensive and modern. The alignment out of the box was pretty spot on, too. They seem like good quality and really hope they stand the test of time. So far I’m very happy with this purchase.

So far great product. Bought these within 2 months of buying new Jeep (2025). The stock lights (even though LED) were terrible. Even the high beam. Reserving the 5th star as I can’t comment on longevity yet.
