Works really well
I liked that it had two sides to hold bottle. The adjustments are really good. I’m buying another because I cut two sizes of bottles. This way they are both set for each even though making the adjustment is not difficult. Putting oil on the cutter is important to get a smooth even cut.

Classic Bottle Cutter for Crafts
This is the classic bottle cutter for making glass crafts. This was easy to assemble and included picture instructions. The bottle was easy to be placed for cutting on the cutter. I was able to make clean cutting lines, but was unable to actually break the bottle using the hot water cold water method. This is a sturdy machine.

Disappointing — Poor Cuts and Awkward Design
I really wanted to like this bottle cutter, but unfortunately, it just doesn’t deliver. The FIXM Glass Bottle Cutter looks promising out of the box, but once you start using it, the flaws become very clear.First off, the cutting performance is very underwhelming. Even with careful scoring and following all the tips (hot and cold water baths, rotating the bottle slowly, etc.), the cuts are inconsistent at best and unusable at worst. Most of the time, the glass cracks in unpredictable ways instead of giving a clean break. I’ve wasted more bottles than I’ve successfully cut.The design itself is also quite awkward. Getting the bottle aligned properly is a frustrating process, and it never really feels secure. The rollers and scoring blade setup just don’t work together as smoothly as they should. You end up fumbling around trying to hold everything in place, which defeats the purpose of having a jig in the first place.Honestly, with just a little more attention to the hardware design—better stability, easier adjustments, and a more precise cutting mechanism—this could’ve been a great tool. But as it stands, it's more of a novelty than a reliable DIY device. If you're serious about upcycling bottles or doing craft projects, I’d recommend looking elsewhere. This one feels like it was rushed through production without much real-world testing.
