This an awesome and inexpensive ultralight rod. Great for creeks and small ponds.

I LOVE this spinning rod!
This is the finest rod I have in my collection for fishing light lures or panfishing for crappie or bluegill. The tip is light and fast for great action and long casts with light lures but the rod has enough backbone to hoist a good-sized fish up a bank. I even use it for trout in the 1-3 pound range and have no problems feeling strikes or fighting them into the net. This is a real winner. Mine is the 6' 6" UL.

Love the rod, but the reel seat feels awkward.
This rod is light, sensitive, and has been durable for me. The only thing I don't like is the reel seat. It feels weird in the hand having a drop where you grab the rod. Probably to save costs, but I would pay more for a better reel seat.

Shimano is King
This Rod is great caught dinner on it. Would never buy another rod after this one. Tough as heck and can dish damage and still work like nothing happened.

Panfish? Go ultra light
This is a good rod for the average panfish angler. Had to buy a second one as backup

Broken before I could even use it
The rod tip broke off before I could even use it. The 7ft ultralight rods are good, the 8 foot is way too fragile. Do not buy.

My favorite UL rod
This is my favorite ultralight rod (I have the 5’a6” model). It’s incredibly sensitive, and looks fantastic. This is without a doubt the most comfortable rod I’ve used. The cork insert in the reel seat looks fantastic, and makes for a very comfy grip. I was blown away by the casting distance. The blank loads up effortlessly and sends small lures farther than I thought possible. Though very sensitive, this rod doesn’t feel fragile at all. It works great, and is beautifully constructed. At around $50, the Sensilite is an unbelievable value.
