Best pool pal for my best gal!
The Pool Pal gives me peace of mind when my 21-month-old is by the pool. I appreciate that it not only provides buoyancy but also encourages kids to engage their core muscles to stay upright while floating, promoting better swimming habits. Another great feature is that it leaves their arms free, allowing them to practice swimming movements naturally. We love it so much that I bought a backup to always have one on hand. You’ll never catch us at the pool without our Pool Pal. It’s a must-have for any parent looking for a safe and effective swim aid for their little ones.

Not to leave your child in the pool with any device to save life ,!
I’ve used the pool pal for years for my children and grandchildren never have I be disappointed, it helps them to love the water, , but as parents you can also teach to respect the water ! Helps with balance they watch other family members kicking in the water ! Toddlers feel apart of the family in the pool!I highly recommend the pool pal! Would not hesitate buying again! Great gifts

Love!
Bought this for my two year old on the boat, it’s great! She wears this while on the fishing dock and at the beach as well. Not as bulky and uncomfortable as some life jackets can be. Kept her afloat when in the water !

Worth it
Perfect for swimming pool, keeps toddler afloat but also allows arm movement. Would purchase again

A big fan of the suit but some room for improvement
4 star rating even though we are big fans of this suit. I have bought 3 of these now and am an evangelist about them.PROS: Unique chest design props up the head somewhat. IDK what people are complaining about with their kid being face-down in the water. It seems impossible without a lot of concentrated effort and I have never witnessed it happen with my kid and we log a TON of hours in this thing. The chest plate is special because if you notice the mass produced generic versions, all of them omit that design feature. Those are a suits I COULD picture being dangerous. As a result, this suit grants independence with relative safety while promoting proper pool posture. I loathe arm floaties and absolutely believe they hinder swim progress. As a mom with 4 kids under the age of 10, no way I could make solo pool trips without my toddler in this thing, so the expense is worth it.CONS: Design is stuck in the 90s. The fabric looks and feels like swimsuits I grew up wearing; sort of flimsy and like an afterthought right down to the vintage elastic arm and leg holes. Limited prints and colors. As others have stated, it breaks down rather quickly, lasting only a season (less if you are swimming almost every day). This is a bummer considering how expensive they are. Why can't a version be made of neoprene? Also the name doesn't roll off the tongue so we just call it the "Bubble Suit". Also no sizes below maybe a size 2T. I'd like to see a version for 12-18m as well.VERDICT: Buy it if you value your sanity at the pool. It also helps with developing natural confidence moving arms and legs in the water. I'm hoping by next summer my daughter won't need it at all thanks to how well she moves in the water now in it (she'll be 4).

Fabric became thin after two months of weekend use
My daughter does not swim everyday. She has swim lesson twice a week for the past two months and the fabric has already thinned and stretched out. Now her other pool pal from Swimdepot, which is the exact cut, smaller size, from previous year is still in tact. I can’t understand that!

See through and color not accurate
It worked good with the floaties, but it was 100% see through. The front wasn't bad but the booty area was bad. We had to use an underware or a diaper for privacy. Also, the accuracy of color is way way off. It looked like the suit had sat in the sun or was bleached. The picture showed hot pink and came as a blush pink. Size was pretty good.

Dangerous!!!!
Why in the WORLD there are so many positive reviews, I cannot fathom. First of all--I may have bought this for the wrong age...I will give you that. But my 14 month old loves to swim and she's very fearless--I thought this would give her buoyancy and keep her head out of the water so that I could let go of her. She jumps into the surf without any "plan" on how to get back up and I have to repeatedly grab her and pull her out. She laughs, thinks it's funny...so I thought--this is the perfect product! She can jump in and it'll float her back out...she'll have a blast, right? The first thing I noticed was that it is very difficult to get a wriggly, squirmy, wet, sandy one year old into this thing. And the suit is not too small. It fit her perfectly once I got it on. Any bigger and the styrofoam pads would have ridden up to cover her face. It seems if you need floaties, it'd be a lot easier to wrap them around a kid or at least have velcro closures somewhere to allow you to slip it on easier. But that minor inconvenience would have been worth it if the thing hadn't been so dangerous. I am so angry. I let her go into the ocean while I stood about a foot away supervising, ready to help her out...and of course she dives in face first...and comes up, alright. She came bobbing to the surface, unable to turn over with her face submerged. Really?!? Really?!?!!!! I had to grab her to keep her from drowning. I thought...ok, we'll give this another shot. I put her right side up, balanced her in the water holding onto her and let go...immediately she tipped face first and again, her face was submerged and this time I let her go for a second to see if maybe she was trying to keep her head under (she's a total water baby, maybe this is a game?)...I noticed that she was struggling to move her head up out of the water and she couldn't do it. I immediately rolled her over onto her back, she got a breath, and I tried to let go and see if she could float on her back...nope. As her arms and legs kicked, it rolled her quickly onto her stomach with her head submerged again. It's like this suit is MADE to drown your child. I joked with my husband later that it does indeed provide buoyancy--you could totally find your dead baby floating face first in the water--it's certainly bright enough. Buy it at your own risk, maybe for an already-swimming, larger kid. Not for babies who can't swim on their own!!!
