I use this in my band's IEM (In-Ear-Monitor) rig, and even in my Guitar Player/Producer's Studio. We use it to split off a separate clean signal for the FOH on live shows, and for the Studio Engineer to have a separate clean signal to process drum recording takes or live band takes while the drummer and band can dial in a sound on our X-Air in the "live room" that doesn't interfere with the "control room". Of course, this product is simply an accessory for the ability to use two mixers independently from each other, so the assumption is that you will have access to two separate mixers that need independent signals. For that purpose, this works great and allows me to keep a clean set up in the IEM rack.

I've had this splitter for a few months now. I'm using it for channels 17-24 of an IEM rack (already had a 16 channel splitter but added more channels). I've seen a bunch of complaints about this brand in other areas of the Inet. Most of them centering around "You get what you pay for".So far, my experience with this snake (and I also have a power conditioner from ProReck) have been fine. No issues whatsoever. If, by chance, something does break through use, I know how to solder and am ok with repairs if I can find them. The way this stuff is pricewise, I can deal with it until I can't. If it starts to truly break down, I can either fix it or swap it out.So far, no issues. At this point, I'd buy another one. Time will tell.

Well worth the price. This unit has held up well using it for live gigs. I would purchase again.

I play in a top 40s band about 100x a year and 50% of my gigs we go out of the venues system. I condensed our rack gear to a 4u and this little rack only took up one row, has durable xlr outs and has great sound quality. Thanks Proreck!

Do NOT buy this.I used it one singular time, and while it works, does the thing, it does NOT let go of xlrs faithfully. Im currently stuck trying to get the male end of what USED to be an xlr out of input 2 and i cant for the life of me get it out of there.Dont get this if you want to keep you cables or your sanity.
