Sweet and slightly sour
These a bit different than other sour string candies. They are sweet, and covered with sugar. They're slightly sour, but not so much they hurt your mouth. They are rather tough and chewy, and the laces are really really long and wrapped similar to a skein of yarn would be, making it rather difficult to just grab a long string without tearing it off. You get a lot of these -- two large clumps (or skeins).

Disappointed mess
A gigantic congealed mass of ropes. Impossible to get just one. Its not pleasany chewy either. Like its old. Not sour at all covered in "sour crystals" but literally if you blind taste this with other Gustav strawberry it's the same. Would not recommend.

Excellent flavor.
The BEST laces I've ever had! Soft, fun and delicious! So good I just ordered another 4 bags and put it on subscription. I'm going to share these with every licorice lover in my life!

Two large lumps of laces
The candy itself is pretty good. Nice flavor with a non-overpowering sour to it. Both my kids liked it as well as myself.The issue is these show up in two large lumps that it is nearly impossible to get apart to actually eat. We pulled, we twisted, we attacked it with scissors to try to chop of a piece. We couldn't deal with it and ended up throwing it all out.
