OtterBoxALPHA GLASS SERIES Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy S9+ - Retail Packaging - CLEAR

I saw this on another review, but the "glass" screen fell off after having it on for about a week. When I looked at it further, it only sticks a small portion of the top, bottom, and sides to the phone. The entire middle piece does not stick to the phone. I dropped my phone on a plush carpet in my bedroom and the screen fell right off. Of course it was covered in carpet fibers so it was useless after that. It will be good and protect your phone, just getting it to stay on is the hard part.

This is the second time purchasing. One was from another vendor. I dropped it the first time everything broke because of my fault. It installed easier than expensive tempered glass protector with no Bubbles for some reason. Didn't use long enough to test adhesive disability but it feels smooth. It's a bit worse than other glass ones but best per money. The reason for the 3 stars is that after trying to increase or decrease my touch sensitivity I still don't have a very responsive experience and I have an s9 plus and I'm not an idiot I can tell that my touches don't get through as well as the expensive ones but for $14 this is pretty good cuz all you have to do is press a little harder focus a little more on your presses and it protects your phone from scratches and gouges.NO screen protector even the $50 ones will protect you from drops and straight on impacts not really I've had the expensive ones and dropped my phone and got f***** if you're just looking to protect your screen get this one right now but be prepared to adapt your touch experience maybe after a year or two you could take it off and then have the smooth perfect experience of your screen.If you can afford it just get a $50 gadget guard protector they give you $150 warranty you can even try the liquid glass for $60 that gives you $300 warranty.

I feel like you pay more than you get out of this screen protector. Grant it, I've dropped my phone (Galaxy S9+) a couple times and not had anything break, the touch screen once the protector is on is ridiculous. I've had to turn up my touch sensitivity and still have a hard time typing out sentences because it doesnt always register that I've touched the screen. Somehow, hair, dirt and other small particles end up getting in between the protector and my screen, so I have specs all over in the middle of my screen that were not there when I first applied it. Each time I put my phone in my pocket, more specs appear under the protector. First time buying an Otterbox protector and I'm not impressed and think they charge too much for the quality.

So far so good with durability. The only problem I got about this is it's adhesive, I can see some dirt particles that got inside after like 2 weeks of using it. It may be because of my work environment, but I'm pretty sure no matter where you work, the adhesive shouldn't be as bad to the point where you got intrusion.

Verry poor adhesivion on the sides and bottom. Very fine dust kept creeping inside and put a few scratches on my phone! wish I could get another one but it fell off during work so I through it away it got all scratched up!

While the glass went on easily enough, and didn't impede touchscreen functions (usuing the Samsung setting for screen protectors), it also didn't last very long. A couple weeks in, I dropped my phome from hip height, and it landed on its corner. The glass flew off, and wouldn't stick back on again. After a bit of gentle cleaning on the adhesive portions (removing debris, pet hair, etc.), it stuck again, but not well. It can easily be pushed off, so it has little to no sheer strength after coming off once. It has also developed a small shattered section, so I will likely need to replace it soon.I will say that it did protect the phone. The phone itself has not developed any cracks while using the glass and otterbox.

I bought the Otterbox Alpha glass to go along with my newly bought Otterbox Defender, mostly because I knew they would be compatible with each other.I also paid $12 rather than the $45 it was listed at. And for $12, this is a great screen protector. The best part is the alignment guides that help you get the protector perfectly aligned.As for the protector itself, it showed up, damage free, seems like a quality piece of glass, although it's quite hard to gage its effectiveness without subjecting my phone to some sort of impact, and I'm sorry Amazon, I don't love you enough to damage my phone for a review.It seems to be adhering to my phone screen well, although I can see the thin strip of adhesive they used in order to maintain screen clarity. It's a trade off honestly, super clear screen, but small amount of adhesive so I guess pick which you are willing to sacrifice.Anyway, for $12, this is a great screen protector. If I had to pay $45, eh not so much.

Used this for my Samsung S9+ as the otterbox case didn't come with a built in screen protector.Putting it on was nice and easy, but it also came off just as easily. It didn't cover the entire screen, so ended up sliding around as I used the touch screen.The touch screen itself became a nightmare to use, with it not registering my taps at all in some places, the extra force needed to make the screen work only exacerbated the already slippery protector, until eventually it just kept coming off after a few minutes of use.Bought myself a case with a built in screen protector instead, which is working much better.

Product only lasted a month before falling off. Was great at first, easy to install, very clear screen and once I increased the sensitivity on my screen I had no problems.I use otterbox products because they have always been great at protecting my phone but this has fallen short of the high standards I've come to expect from Otterbox.Absolutely not worth the £15 I spent, for less than a months usage.

case is ok problem with screen never worked right don't waste your money wait till they cheaper and buy one with screen attached to case

This is the worst screen protection I have ever bought .... fitted it correct but things still got underneath the screen and made it that bad I couldn't use it after 1 week ....Please stay away from this ...TERRIBLE

Avoid unless you wish to touch screen multiple times and harder for responsiveness. Surprised at such a poor product from Otterbox
