Sugar 'N Cream The Original Solid Yarn, 2.5oz, Medium 4 Gauge, 100% Cotton - Dark Pine - Machine Wash & Dry

Basic cotton yarn with bright colors. Easy to work with. Doesn’t split too much. Is not stretchy. Not soft, not harsh. Just cotton.

It is a easy yarn to use, and it is great for dish clothes.

Sugar 'N Cream is the best cotton yarn for potholders. Never had problems with it. It was shipped quickly and arrived with no issues. Highly recommend.

I have used sugar and cream all the time. But I stopped using the balls because of its impossible to find the center. It was a little darker than I would have liked but it worked. It was thicker than the spoil of s&c. I just need a little fot my project, but I thought it cost a lot for just doing a border. It was stiff and almost felt like it was dyed to long or it was a blend. It didn't feel like 100% cotton.

Great cotton yarn for household projects.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This is the brand I was taught to use to make dish cloths. I like it!! We cannot buy it in our area any more.

The consistency seems rougher to work with, but as a finished dishcloth it's holding up very well, more so than with previous Sugar & Cream yarns which I always have used for making dishcloths (many as gifts).

Not quite what I expected but it knits quite well

For such a small ball of yarn, you'd be better of finding something locally that ordering online.

This yarn is excellent for knitting or crocheting kitchen linens like dish clothes, hot pads. I've noticed that this particular color (forest green) does bleed a bit when wet, so I would not recommend it for washcloths. The end results for hot pads were strong - I used double crochet - and I am still very happy with the yarn quality.

I ordered ten skeins of this yarn to make a blanket for a friend who requested the color ‘forest green’. I ordered the dark pine and when I received the package two skeins of the yarn were labeled as ‘dark pine’ but were clearly not the same color as the other eight skeins. Disappointed.

Adequate for yarn, but the picture makes it look waaaay bigger than it is. Thought I was getting a deal but next time I’m going to Walmart to buy bulk!
