I picked up this red dot sight for my pellet pistol, and I have to say I'm genuinely impressed, especially considering the price. I wasn't expecting this level of quality from such an affordable optic, but it has exceeded my expectations. Installation was quick and straightforward. It mounted securely to the rail, and I had it sighted in after just a few adjustments. Once zeroed, it has held its point of aim well during my shooting sessions. The glass is nice and clear, the red dot is bright and easy to see, and the multiple brightness settings make it easy to use in different lighting conditions. The construction also feels much more solid than I expected. It doesn't feel cheap or flimsy, and everything from the adjustment knobs to the mount has a quality feel to it. What really stands out is the value for the money. There are certainly more expensive red dot sights on the market, but for casual target shooting, plinking, or mounting on a pellet gun, this one delivers excellent performance without breaking the bank. If you're looking for a dependable, budget-friendly red dot that is easy to mount, easy to zero, and performs well, I think this is an excellent choice. I'd definitely buy it again. I purchased 2 of these. For the price this red dot is awesome. I’m not a serious shooter, mostly for target practice. I don’t have the most expensive guns, but I do like accuracy, and it’s pretty good for my needs. Compared to other red dots that cost $150 - $400, it does what I want. I put the dot on the target and as long as I’m steady it puts the bullet on or close to the dot. It does not have a shake awake feature, you have to physically turn it on. It does run off a battery, they send 2. After about 4 shooting sessions I’m still on the first battery. I have only shot indoors at a gun range so I can see the dot pretty well, you can adjust the brightness of the dot. Haven’t used on an outside gun range yet, so not sure how bright the dot will be in sun light. Very happy with this purchase and would recommend it. If using for personal protection, seconds count, may want a shake awake feature. Fits great and easy install on my AR style rifles.

I'd recommend this to throw on a range toy but probably not a home defense firearm. It works well and I am actually impressed with the quality. I like how easy it is to twist the knob to turn the red dot on. The big reason I don't recommend it for home defense is because there is a small amount of parallax. I directly compared it to my Sig Romeo sight which seems to have no noticeable parallax. It could be off by several inches at 25 yards if the user isn't looking directly through the center of the sight. I also can't confirm how well it holds its zero over time. All in all, great product for the price. I would certainly buy again! But might be worth investing in a high quality one for a life-or-death scenario.

Good value for the price. Holds zero well. Brightness, windage, and elevation detent clicks are pronounced. The only issue so far is the pronounced parallax across the right half of the optic.

It's hard to believe how good this red dot is considering its cost. It even comes with a riser. I have one mounted on an AK and an AR-15 and it holds zero just fine. The red dot is visible at maximum power, even during bright daylight. It feels like a solid build. My preference has always been for the turn dial style as opposed to pressing buttons, which is often less responsive. It has held up in light rain. I don't usually shoot during hard rainfall. It does work in the cold as well. It is dead simple to use, just turn the dial. I aligned it by using a laser bore site and then testing it at the range. It also has a simple, refined look to it. Overall I would highly recommend this red dot.

It's marketed as waterproof, shockproof, fog-proof, with a crisp 2MOA dot, 11 brightness settings, unlimited eye relief, and easy Picatinny mounting—popular for entry-level use. What I Liked (Pros): Installation was quick and simple: Mounted easily on a Picatinny rail with the included riser for good height. Came with lens covers, extra battery, and basic tools—no major hassle. For the first 2 months of regular use (multiple range sessions, moderate recoil handling), it performed well for the price. The 2MOA dot was clear and bright enough in various lighting, quick target acquisition with both-eyes-open setup, and it held zero decently—no significant point-of-impact shifts after shooting or normal bumps. Excellent value as a cheap intro to red dots for casual or light recreational shooting. The Problems (Cons): Battery consumption was noticeably high from the beginning. Even at medium brightness levels (around 4-6 out of 11), it drained CR2032 batteries much faster than expected—needing replacements every few weeks with intermittent use. This was a constant annoyance compared to optics with better efficiency. At the 3-month mark, it failed: No dot visible, no response to the power/brightness button. I tried a fresh battery and cleaned the contacts—still totally dead. No drops, water exposure, extreme conditions, or abuse; it just stopped working without warning. This destroyed any reliability for longer-term or consistent use. Bottom Line: This MidTen 2MOA 1x25mm started strong as an affordable red dot—easy setup, decent hold on zero initially, and good enough performance for short-term casual sessions. But the aggressive battery drain and abrupt total failure after just 3 months make it unreliable beyond very temporary or backup duty. If you're on a tight budget and fine with something that might only last a short while (or you keep spares ready), it could serve for light fun. For anything needing dependable longevity, better battery life, and consistent performance, I'd recommend investing in a more established brand like Holosun, Vortex, or Primary Arms.
