Simple fix for a surprisingly annoying problem Picked up this Toggle Light Switch Guard Cover because I kept running into the same issue—smart lights don’t work very well when someone flips the switch off. Installed these and problem solved. They go on easily over the existing toggle switch and block accidental flips while still allowing access when you actually need it. Once they’re in place, the switch stays on, and everything runs the way it’s supposed to. It’s been especially useful for keeping things consistent with Amazon Alexa control—no more wondering why a light isn’t responding. I will be buying many more! This light switch in particular turns on the attic light and my kids keep leaving it on. Now that won't be a problem! 10 out of 10 recommend. We also have "auto motion lights" and if the switch is turned off then the light won't be motion activated. So I will be using these all around the house. Problem solved!

Great to protect switches you don't want turned off.

Love these and they work well. They are easy to install and fit snug against the switch plate. I love the clasp to quickly open the clamp if needed. Would buy again.

I just installed a few of these at my ~80 year old mother's house to hopefully discourage her husband with Alzheimer's from turning off lights all the time he's not supposed to yet does all the time anyway, either not thinking about someone else being away/outside at night (porch light) or that should remain on all the time (sump pump, confused with driveway light). It remains to be seen if they will do the trick where posted notes all over the place often do not. Edit: Initially I gave these four stars because I thought they were extremely difficult to open. I thought it required brute strength and a strong grip. Turns out you push up (parallel to wall) on the tab at the bottom and it pushes on the latch and pops right open, which my 80 year old mother figured out. Oops. 5 stars. Now, hopefully her Alzheimer's husband won't figure that out as well.

These are nice. I like that I can install them using the same screws that I currently have (it does come with screws and they are painted white--I have yellow plate covers) and I can install this cover to to open from the top or the bottom. Really like that. This is exactly what I needed for peace of mind.
