Really solid construction, this thing will not let go of your phone at all, It’s very versatile as you can use it many ways and mount in a few ways too. Can’t remember how much it cost me but I think it’s worth it - definitely better than a plastic one I was using.

Overall I reiterate what the other reviewers have mentioned - sturdiness, small footprint, well constructed etc. However, as they Are charging more for those features, there are three points to consider. 1) there seems to be no way to adjust the tightness of the joints. They seem to be a press-fit perhaps, and as such may begin to wear with use. Only time will tell there. 2) this point is more immediate - there looks to be semi-locked positions set at 90, 180, 270 and 360 degrees. These have some 'wriggle room' in them, so your camera will not always 'snap' to those exact positions due to the wriggle room, something to watch out for. Also, because of that wriggle room, your camera can actually move somewhat if you change position swiftly. It will not fall out, but it feels disconcerting. I feel that a slight redesign is required, with smaller grooves internally being required. 3) they have rubber inside covers top and bottom where the grip holds your phone, but none at all on the metal face that can come into contact with your phone's screen. The grip is metal, your screen is glass, I did not want to risk that, so found some stick on rubber to cover that section. A small thing but one that should have already been thought of, I feel, due to the brand's usual attention to detail.

High quality mount very sturdy works with phones with and without cases awesome.

Just like my other Smallrig purchases this is perhaps one of the most verastile for me, I can connect my dslr to my phone and use the phone screen to control the camera (via a separate app) It's so sturdy on top of the camera i can actually hold the phone with the camera (1ds mk3) underneath, it's grip on the phone is that good. I feel the price is great as it means i can shoot with an older dslr without being constrained to the viewfinder or rear camera screen.

The material quality is excellent, and overall it feels like a premium product. However, there are some design flaws. I bought it to use on top of my DSLR mirrorless Canon R5, but I couldn’t fit my iPhone 16 Pro in vertical orientation. Additionally, the horizontal fit isn’t perfectly level, which was a bit disappointing. That said, the grip and materials used are definitely top-notch. I’m giving it 3 stars mainly due to the limitations with fitting vertical.

Excellent metal frame phone clamp. Holds the phone well without a tightener, held an S10+ quite happily. It fits on most camera/pod mounts fine. It's not too heavy for a metal clamp, but it's so far seemed very sturdy. The tension of pivot is good to hold the phone still after tilting it. I'm not sure what sort of lifespan these would have, as for using this on a daily basis I think the springs in the clamp would be fine if not stressed too much. Good for the price.

un soporte pequeño, simple y muy bien construido, se nota la calidad del producto. Todo de aluminio. Gira suavemente sin hacer mucha fuerza. buena apertura de la abrazadera para colocar distintos móviles. Tengo un iPhone 15 PRO MAX y lo sujeta estupendamente con su funda. Lleva zapata para anclar a una cámara y rosca de 1/4 para un soporte de trípode o mando gimbal, etc. Por el precio que tiene creo que es una muy buena compra. Tengo otro producto de esa marca (una jaula para el iphone con sus asas) y también me parece muy bueno. Se nota la calidad.

Preis-Leistung wirklich top! Ohne Übertreibung perfekte Verarbeitung bei minimalistischen Design. Komplett aus Metall ohne künstliche Sollbruchstellen. Quasi unzerstörbar. Verpackung auch sehr ordentlich. Die Gelenke bremsen von alleine und halten alles in Position, wie man es eben haben will. Oben am Handyclip ist noch eine weitere 4-Eck Halterung für eine Lampe etc. Ich schreibe selten Bewertungen aber als Ingenieur musste ich bei diesem Teil mal ein Lob aussprechen. Zusammen mit dem 10€ Amazon Basics Stativ hat man da eine wirklich solide Ausstattung für den Hobbygebrauch.
