The Broken Wings

Rating this short story by Kahil was easy. When I got the book, I opened the book and read just a random passage and we both were just fascinated by the passages I read. This is just a continuing writing of a great author.

Poetic tale of a deep, pure and spiritual love. Kahlil Gibran makes you feel every written word deep within your heart and soul.

A tragic beautiful love story. But for some reason, the kindle version I bought didn't come with the illustrations. Lyrical writing, this book almost read like a poem.

This is a wonderful book I sent it as a gift. I hope the donee received it.It is a story about, among other things, unrequited love... or a book about how the "caste" system does not allow two people who love one another to be togetherlAdd this one to your Kahlil Gibran collection.

This book is a great gift!

...Actually, someone stole it off my desk at work before I could even read it, but the quality of the paper was decent and readers would have been able to pass it on to friends a few times without the excessive wear-n-tare embarassing them.

I wish there were more options when purchasing this book. Their were some basic mistakes that should not have been printed. A 12 yo could have seen and edited these mistakes. The print is massive, makes me feel like I'm reading a manual not a beautiful story. But...it was a lovely read and the large text grows on you and most of the mistakes are at the beginning. For the price it's a great option.

I purchased this for someone who is a fan of Kahlil and she was so happy to get it.She had no complaints.The book was in good condition and arrived on time.
