Benjamin Moore Ultra Premium Waterborne Ceiling Paint (Flat White)

This is the only ceiling paint I use... I've painted an entire 2 houses worth of celings and never knew there was a such a difference between brands for white ceiling paint. I've used them all...Kilz, behr, valspar, Sherwin Williams. Then, one day I ran out of paint mid-project and went to my local Ace Hardware and they only had Benjamin Moore. When I rolled paint that out... Oh...my...goodness! Less splatter, more even coverage, fewer coats, brighter white, no turning back. You get what you pay for. Simply the best, never waste money on the others again.

So thick that it is hard to spread. Dries fast so hard to maintain a wet edge. Splotchy. Touch-ups stand out. Gave up after second coat. Not meant for roller application.

The media could not be loaded.  Not as good as I hoped. I absolutely hate painting ceilings! I thought I read where this was one coat, well it’s not. I still have to go back and edge the ceilings and I guess put another coat of paint. This paint was a little thick and I didn’t add any water or thinner, because I assumed it would cover better. I think next time I’ll hire someone.

Good paint

Great paint. You can feel the difference in this paint. I anticipated needing two coats but one coat was enough. Great, smooth coverage. Get the right roller and prep any flaws correctly and the paint will be flawless. It’s a better value through BM.

Nice paint - covers in one coat

Really nice ceiling paint. But I bought it from Jax (a local home and farm store) for about $45 including tax. Too heavy for cheap shipping. Amazon is great but I buy local when I can for the same, or in this case, a lot less!

Tough to work with- ultra thick. If you try to pass more than once with roller the finish is compromised. Not recommended especially since it’s considered a premium product.
