Exactly what I needed. Tried 2! power supplies with the new 12v on them and neither worked. This is great for systems from before they changed to the new 12v style video cards and plugs right in just like if it was OEM. The cable is extremely high quality too, none of it feels like cheap crap. Cable looks good with the other cables as well and matches like it came out of the box and has the perfect length if you want to do proper cable manager. Would highly recommend to anyone needing to upgrade to a new video card with an older PSU.

The cable was super easy to install, a great length, and appears to be very durable / high quality and not at all flimsy. I really appreciated the installation instructions, which included common pitfalls to avoid when installing the cable to prevent lasting damage to my GPU. I've had this cable for about a month, and so far no issues at all. If I was buying this cable again, I would probably opt for the version which has a 90° connector at the tip instead of this variant (it would fit better in my case).

This works perfectly with my RTX 5090. The amount of PCIe cables before was absurd and the NVIDIA adapter is just an eyesore to look at. This is super clean and worked perfectly with my EVGA P2 1200 PSU. Only (minor) gripe is the length. I have a CaseLabs STH10 (super, super tower) and the PSU is mounted on top so the cable was just enough to reach. Still, 5 stars for the build quality and wiring thickness.

Good quality product. I bought this to use in reverse— to power a 3090 card from the more Modern 600w connector. This did not work, but the product is good quality and works well to power a newer GPU from an older power supply.

Before this direct cable my 4090 had to be hooked up with extension cables to the PSU and it was a meeeeesssss.The braided quality is amazing,length is perfect for any case and the cover at the 12vhpwr to protect from bends is a bonus to making this cable make your setup look good.

My Gigabyte RTX4080 has black screen problem, when it happens, the monitor turns to black screen, GPU fan goes to 100%, but sound is still audible. I searched from internet and found this is a common problem. I sent my card to RMA and Gigabyte tested it and said the card is working fine. So I studied deeper, found that the sensor pin in the 12vhpwr adapter might be the reason. I purchased this StealthSense cable, it does not have the 2 sensor pin. It is working as it should. So far so good, I will update my comment if I find the black screen issue again. Update 10/24/2024: After two weeks of usage, no black screen and 100% fan issue found. Problem solved! BTW, I am using 16-pin to Quad 8-pin cable for my 4080, maybe a little overdesign, but for the same price, why not.
