Totally worth it!
Worth every penny! I have been using it for two years. There is a loud pop every time it zaps a big. Occasionally, a bigger bug will get caught in the mesh, and keep getting refried, sparking and smoking a little bit. Be sure to leave it far from curtains and carpets, etc. This device has paid for itself. I love it!

Buy it, is excellent!
We had ours since 2024 and is on 24/7. It works! Where we live are mosquitoes and other flying insects and we don't have a problem anymore. It has been a month since one of the lights stop working (after two years) and the machine still works great. We bought it in white. The problem with white plastic is that it turns yellowish with time. That is my only complaint and it does not have anything to do with the item. It has a tray at the bottom that slides and you can take it out to clean it. The screen at the sides can also be detached to be cleaned. So is very easy to maintain. It is safe, the little fingers of the grandkids don't pass through it. Overall is a great product. Buy it!

Just Average
It works, but overall it’s just average. The power doesn’t feel very strong, especially when there are more bugs around. Nothing particularly impressive, but nothing seriously wrong with it either. It does the job, just not as powerful as I expected.

Bright and attracts bug immediately
I have this in the house to catch the flys with 6 people in and out the doors. It's purple and gives blacklist vibes. It's up on a shelf and doesn't distract us from resting but if looking right at it it's very bright and attracts bugs immediately. It has a slide out tray for cleaning. The size is nice but not too big if needed to store it. It's really durable and the bars on the front and back are good to keep littles out.

Works great, even for very small insects.
We have an issue with small gnats in our apartment, so we wanted to try a zapper. I was concerned that it wouldn't work well since they're so small, but it works great and hasn't had a problem at all. It started catching the gnats about as soon as we plugged it in. The light is also not very bright or harsh, so it's no problem staying in the living room. It's also silent, except for a soft snap when a fly hits it.

Worth it!
I live in a very rural, wooded area and I bought this back in March because fungus gnats infested my potted plants and joined the Asian beetles and stink bugs invading my home. It was nightmare. A few weeks with zapper was all it all it took to get rid of the Asian beetles and stink bugs, but I also had to treat my potting soil with peroxide to finally kill off the gnats. Those days are now just a bad memory. You will notice a improvement very quickly with this zapper. It also kills other large flying insects like horse flies and wasps, but sometimes a large insect gets caught between two bars of a grate protecting the lights (not the outside cover) and will zap repeatedly until the bug basically burns up from the current and drops off. When this happens there will be a quick burst of zaps followed by a whisp of smoke and brief burning smell. I only mention this because, at first, I was afraid to leave the zapper on if I wasn't home. But I have had it long enough to realize it's never a fire hazard, and my zapper stays on 24/7. Flying insects are drawn to the lights without any need for additional bait. No more chasing around with a fly swatter or vacuuming Asian beetles off the ceiling. No more jars of apple cider vinegar and dish soap to trap the gnats. I did read other reviews where people complained about lights that stopped working. There was one time when three lights suddenly went dark, but the next day they were all lit up. Not sure what happened, but that's been several months ago and thw lights all work. So I feel like I've had the zapper long enough to give it a great review for anyone living out in the boondocks where insects fly in every time the door opens. The downsides (still worth it) are: 1. The zap is loud. I've actually been in my bedroom and thought an electrical breaker tripped, only to realize a bug got zapped in the kitchen. 2. You have to to regularly wipe off the counter around the zapper, because random insect wings and legs can get blown out onto the counter next to it.

not for tiny flying insects.
Using this in the garage workshop it works but would be better if it had a mesh rather than bars as it will not kill things smaller than a house fly as they must contact two wires at the same time and knats, small flies and mosquitoes can just fly between wires. If you issue is solely flys and large mosquitos and moths this will work but know what you are trying to zap before purchasing.

Could be better but better than nothing
I wanted to like this bug zapper more than I did. It does work, but the results weren’t as impressive as I expected. It does not catch flies easy, I watched several bugs fly toward the light, only to fly right back out instead of getting zapped. The blue LED also seems much dimmer than other indoor bug zappers I’ve owned, so I don’t think it’s as effective at attracting insects. My biggest complaint is the cleaning process. You have to unscrew the entire unit just to remove the dead bugs, which feels like a lot more work than necessary. Other bug zappers I’ve used have a simple pull out tray that makes cleanup quick and mess free. This one gets the job done, but the weaker light and inconvenient maintenance keep it from being one I would purchase again. It’s easy to use with just the touch of a button. It is very light weight too so you can move it with ease not sure how it will hold up and it’s durability since it is so light weight.

Good price for a fly zapper that looks much better in the home than industrial units
This review is for "Buzbug LED Fly Zapper Indoor, 10 Years Lifespan Lamp Sustainable Less Power, Durable Fly Killer, Fly Trap, Fly Catcher, Bug Zapper, Mosquito Killer - MA015B(RED)." Although advertised as red, this is more of a dark pink colour, which actually blends perfectly with the orchids I have standing on the same shelf as I put the fly zapper. Of course that wont be such a great colour for some people. Easy to set up, and looking much more attractive than the industrial style fly zappers this is much more suitable for domestic use. I'm hopeful that the lights last as well as suggested, but of couse I cannot rate that yet. In use, the brightness is similar to another stand-alone fly zapper that I have, and to me, looks similar although I cannot vouch for the levels of attractive UV. I generally find I dont notice the flies actually landing on these devices, but I do hear them from another room when the inevitable zap happens, and eventually the tray fills up with the evidence. So dont expect to watch the flies heading straight for the zap - they will veer towards it if they are already flying close by, and this seems to be enough to do the job. This model is no different in that respect. Overall I'm very happy, and I particularly appreciate the more domestic-friendly design. The price at time of review was around £37 which seems to be pretty competitive.

Kleiner, funktionierender Insektenanzieher / Insektenvernichter in ansprechendem Retro-Design

Effective and stylish
The Buzbug LED Fly Zapper Indoor is straightforward to set up and easy to use. The instruction sheet is clear and easy to follow, including helpful safety guidance such as avoiding handling the unit with wet hands and taking care when cleaning the grid. The zapper itself is a very bright pink colour, which makes it quite noticeable, and it has a handy carry strap so it can easily be moved between rooms if needed. It uses LED bulbs and is designed for indoor use to attract and eliminate flies and other small insects. In terms of performance, it has been effective for the occasional flies that make their way indoors. I don’t tend to have large numbers of insects in the house, but it has dealt with the few that have come close to it without any issues.
