Kurio Snap Camera, The Ultimate Digital Camera Built for Kids

My husband and I bought this camera for our son on his 7th Birthday. We weren't sure how long the camera would survive our son since he is very well known for breaking and taking things apart in his spare time. After a year of daily use and after watching some of his videos, allot of abuse, the camera is not only still working like new, it doesn't have a single scratch or chip. I love that it's simply a camera and not a mini tablet with internet access or any open web ability. There is an app parents can install on their phones to receive photos from the camera and to even share photos to the camera, which is a nice touch. You can also add mp3 to the device so they can listen to their favorite music, there is a headphone jack so they can listen in peace. There are a few mini games on the camera too, which is great for long car rides. I highly recommend this camera. If mine hasn't destroyed it yet, I believe that it would be pretty hard for any kid to do so. It's been a great gift and has helped him move up in ranks as an older big kid.

Product never turned on even after charging for over 24 hours.

I am soooo bummed to be writing a bad review on this camera. I was so excited to give this to my 5yo daughter for her birthday. She is very familiar with my camera app on my phone & snatches it constantly to take pictures. When I saw this camera design, I thought it would be perfect! This camera IS designed awesomely by the way. It is set up perfectly for a kid this used to a tablet or camera app, the only one I could find st up like this with a touch screen & it comes with built in stickers, borders & design functions. The rest of the kids cameras I've looked at were all regular camera style. So yeah, fantastic idea & design, absolutely horrible picture quality. I don't understand why this company would go to the trouble to make such a cool, durable camera & not give it better resolution. I wanted so badly to love this but for the terrible picture quality it's not even worth $5. Seriously. The highest resolution is barely even recognizable. Sad.

My granddaughter seven really likes it,. I didn't give it a 5 star because I felt it should have included more directions. Sheactually figured it out by trial and error.

It's a good camera. My daughter likes using it. I just wish the picture quality was better.

My 8 year old loves this camera. It keeps her entertained for hours and encourages creative play. It is easy to use, has fun stickers, and survives being tossed around by my kids. It was a great buy.
