Worked well
I usually use a live yoghurt culture bought from a shop. This is the first time using this product. My yogurt was beautifully set, velvety textured and creamy tasting. I strongly recommend using this over a shop bought live yogurt any day.

Yogurt starter
I have tried this several times now, first time I used in a easyyo yogurt maker made yogurt but was very thin , not sure if it was the maker not holding heat. Bought new Lakeland electric machine. Second batch worked well used semi fresh milk, boiled and cooled the yogurt came out really thick almost set. Third attempt was with uht semi milk, this ment didn’t have to boil first but did warm milk to the right heat before adding starter however made a very runny yogurt even after 9hours.Will keep trying as the taste was good.

Works with Non-diary ingredients
I’m reducing my animal fats so wanted to make a non diary probiotic yogurt. Although it’s for diary after some error I’ve managed to make an amazing non diary probiotic yogurt using this. Blended coconut, cashew and a little oats in water, heated then allowed to cool. Inoculated it and left it for 8 hours at 30 degrees C in my oven. I’m very happy, I’m getting 3 lots of plants and feeding my gut all in one. I do also add fruits and nuts as a topping. The instructions didn’t give a temperature for the incubation, it was a guessing game.

Incorrect instructions on box
I'm newish to making yoghurt, but purchased this after using the original yoghurt starter. I followed the instructions on the back of the green box (having to put the box under a decent light as the text is hard to read), let the yoghurt drop to the lower than normal temp of 25C. It wasn't until I popped it in the yoghurt maker that I thought that temp is too low and checked the Yogourmet's website for further instructions. Yes, my yoghurt was now too cooled (and I had already added the starter), according to the web instructions it should have cooled to 44C. It all had to go in the bin. I've contacted the company but not yet heard back. Reluctant to use the other sachets in the box.

Does what it says on the box.
Another one of those items that ... 'does what it says on the box'. Yes, you can just use a dollop of yoghurt from the previous batch to get the process going - but these sachets give a much more consistent (i.e. thicker) result - and are therefore worth getting.

Great Yoghurt Starter
This is a very nice yoghurt starter with a blend of really good cultures. Worked very well even with lactose free milk. Yes, I would recommend this product.
