Great Conversion
This conversion works very well. Much brighter AND batteries last longer. The installation was not difficult, even though the instruction sheet wasn’t too clear.

Light is okay, love the tail switch
It improved the brightness of my old incandescent mini maglites to make them usable. However, definitely nowhere near as bright as the new Mini Maglite LED Pro models. Really like the tail end push button switch though.

Simple Install & Much Brighter
These LED Combo kits arrived quickly & installed Easily. They've made a real difference in the flashlight's response to being turned on & off. When using the flashlight, with it's original base & reflective cone, I would usually have to tap it on my hand to get it to turn on or tap when it flickered out. When I installed the upgrade kit all I've had to do is remember to rotate/loosen the bulb housing when I switch it on get the bulb to turn on. I haven't had any flickering with it & the light is really intense when it's focused.

Works well enough for non-led but you have to sometimes screw it closed to reseat the led, the button doesn't work at all for led pro

An easy upgrade for the AA Mini Maglite to a brighter LED lightbulb.
The Mini MagLite AA LED bulb Upgrade was a great investment in bringing a brighter light to the flashlight. After replacing the switch that the lamp plugs into with a repair kit, the switch over to a brighter LED bulb was a great improvement. With this LED replacement light kit it includes a push button on/off switch that changes the on/off function to a push button instead of the original twist on & off function. The light focus feature remains the same.

Poor light quality..
I thought going LED would make my flashlight brighter. No no, and def not by much. Not to mention that with this set up, you cannot change the focus of the light, to make it thinner or wider ray. Lastly, the pressure put on the led holder has to be just right, if it's too loose or too tight, the light won't even come on. I fell kinda ripped off.

Super bright great conversion
Great conversion product changed my old flashlight from 30 years ago. Now instead of changing burnt out light bulb we now use the new led bulb and now a push button on/ off makes it so bright and easier to use...
