Hi. Is this suitable for connecting two pieces of identical diameter soil pipe together above ground? Thanks.

I use these rubber connectors to join same size pipes and to reduce or increase diameter of plastic pressure fit pipes above ground on my koi pond, they work great, as they are are made of thick rubber so they have lasted me for a couple of years before any cracking appears due to them being in direct sun snow and ice, and they need replacing, I am trying a test of petroleum jelly put over the outside of the rubber to see if it protects the rubber from perishing due to the weather, making them last even longer, I put a lot of trust in these rubber connectors so I check them daily and replace any that show any cracking or damage As my water is under a lot of pressure due to pump being used, and thankfully up to now none have burst, which would be a disaster as the pond would soon empty at a rate of 10,000 litres per hour, killing all of my koi. I hope this answer helps you decide.

How long is the 50mm staright connector cant see the lenth in the add ?? Would this be sutaible to connect scaffolding tube to plastic water pipe?

The length is 75mm, but we wouldn't be able to comment on application.

What os the internal diameter of this coupling?

Thanks for your enquiry. The outside diameter of the coupler is 60mm. Please note that the worm-drive clip on the outside of this increases the maximum width of the assembly to approximately 71mm. The inside diameter of the coupling is 51mm and the overall length is 75mm.
