The second crushing, soul mangling, neck bustin' album from Texas hardcore thrashers: Power Trip. Quite possibly the best thrash album you will have heard in the last decade. IMMENSE, MAMMOTH, MASSIVE.

It's good to know that thrash is still alive and kicking ...
It's good to know that thrash is still alive and kicking outside of the main arena. The big established bands from the glory days have produced some good releases in the last couple of years, the likes of Kreator, Testament and Death Angel to name but a few. This band, and one which I've recently come across doesn't disappoint. A solid hard and heavy thrash release is up there with the best of them and one to watch. Buy it and enjoy: HARD, HEAVY AND POWERFUL STUFF. enjoy.

A return to the heyday of thrash metal
These guys have the fire in their bellies & have created an excellent metal album. Yes it’s thrash but a return to how metal used to be. Great riffs & great songs- vocals aren’t just shouting like most modern metal albums. Sounds like Exodus or early Metallica but with a modern twist. Great stuff.

Swing of the.. YOWWW!!
Ripping thrash. It's well worth a listen. They've intentionally left out blast beats, which I enjoyed. Might even be the heavier for it too. Also, probably shouldn't be listening to this in the car.

Power Trip - Nightmare Logic
Purchased after hearing 'Executioner's Tax (Swing of the Axe)'. A crossover of 80s thrash metal and hardcore punk. Will definitely check these guys out when they tour with Trivium later this year though may need to go to the gym first if I am going to survive the pit.

Fantastic album - music needed this
God, I’ve been longing for an album like this since the 80s! Proper thrash with brilliant riffs. Love the drumming especially as it avoids the double bass blast beat. Straight-forward and brilliant.

this is the best Thrash album I’ve heard since Reign in Blood
Pretension-free, no-holds-barred, high impact, ferocious Thrash. With a 32 min run-time, this is the best Thrash album I’ve heard since Reign in Blood. Its amazing.
